Got my GCMS notes today. According to the notes, the last entry was on 6th March
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
Criminality: Passed
Medical: not started.

They did not include my relative's point and regarded my job experience to be 2 years!!!!! ??? ???(no clue WHY). But even then my points calculated to be 68. In one of the notes it is said that my kids were born on Nov 2008 and August 2010 that's why the VO had concerns whether I actually work in the company or not as I did not take any break. I wish I could inform them that my first child was born during my uni 3rd year and I took only one week off that too because of the operation.

In the later note, I met all the points but requested for PCC of my spouse's stay in australia. But I did not get any such requests or no mention of such request in the correspondence.

Can anyone please tell me the difference between security and criminality? What does Security mean? And why is there no entry in my Security?

Thanks for sharing the note. You should get on collecting your spouse's PCC as soon as possible.
From SS it looks like you got 2nd line in February, if you started the PCC process at that time it would have been easier for you now.

Again, there was an idea in the forum that Criminality check started after MR and before PPR, but your note contradict that idea as you already pass that stage.

Criminality basically checks weather you were a known convict before, served any jail time or have warrant in any country.
A person with criminal record can still apply after certain time span and some procedures. But that needs to be declared in the background info form.

Security on the other hand deals stuffs that are more general and issues toward your settlement to canada.

From my understanding is that your file is now fully clear except VO is waiting for your PCC which they kept blank on Security Check in your GCMS note.

It is good that your files already completed checked all except your Spouse file are pending which they treat is individual application reason all issues are pending since your GCMS note completed.

You could found that your spouse AUS pcc is pending to submit. As you can see from other post in this forum that it is compulsory for PCC if anyone live any country more than six months and I think you should have it in between the time because once VO/CO asks you to submit your medical with all PCCs and the time is more longer for your spouse AUS PCC and it will lead more delay for PPR or your next level request from VO.

From your questions on diff between Security and Criminality check, it is bit tricky answer however from my knowledge Criminality is like as it is related with any criminality involvement in any country in the world even in residence country, like if you deport from any country if you have travel history, if you receive cancel visa from any country for any security reason, etc. In that point CIC checks all this kind of related issues from their own security agent even though they can depend on other third party agent but all should be in VO/CO hands until they offer for MR. And on the other point for Security is, it treats as your all country PCC record.

in my case they did not ask me for PCC when send MR & RPRF bcoz i have sended PCC when i send application. is there any chance they have checked my PCC before send me MR & RPRF request? Thanks..........

Point of my message is you will need to justify the length for b1/b2 visa for eg. Visitors requesting medical treatment with letters from doctors and etc will receive a longer duration vs for tourist with only itinerary. It all depends on your purpose for visiting US and how you justify with supporting docs.

Well, I would suggest you to apply from BD. Usually US authority issue the visa after justifying some grounds. First of all, after landing in CA, you would be jobless for a certain period, so there is a question of limitation of self dependence, Obviously they would not issue a visa till you get a certain stable job with minimum duration to coup up with CA, they might think, you may wish to work in US as there is more job market in US and you might misuse B1/B2 visa and who knows your CA visa could be used as a transit visa. So, I guess it would be very difficult to get visa from CA unless you overcome above mentioned grounds. On the other hand, from BD they could think differently, they knows, everyone is west bound and they actually justify your real status that how could it be very difficult to get immigrant visa from BD after waiting for a long long time. And obviously you could show your sound stable status here in BD. Another issue is, if they issue the visa then it would be for 5 years multiple entry, the benefit of this visa is, you can use drop box visa service in future which might not be available in CA. So, I am in doubt, if they issue the visa from CA then it would be valid for a very limited time with single entry. I hope you understand my explanations and whatever you feel like just go for it...choice is yours.

2nd line in ecas means visa office started processing your application.
3rd line means after your medical test, results have been reached to the VO and its ok.
