Dear Experts,

Im new here and i have a small doubt. I actually posted this in few other threads and i hope to hear from many experts as possible.

Am i right to say If someone's CC charged means that his application is complete and CIC officers has already checked the candidate's job description match to the 80% of the lead statement of the NOC and after checking that only they charge the candidate's credit card?

Is there any chance that the CIC officers will charge the CC first and then later they check the candidate's job description (JD provided by the company including the jobs he performs in the work) and if it's found that it doesnt match with the 70%-80% of the lead statement and so the candidate will receive a NER?

Really appreciate your answers in clearing my above doubts.

Thank you all in advance.
hi there
I had the same doubt before.
My friend who got charged faced NER because JDR was not matching.
my another friend got rejected (before charged) because JDR was not matching. Both noc 3233.
So I came into a conclusion that it depends on the official who assesses the file. But we don't have any idea how does cic work.

they send it via regular mail. So it usually takes between 1-3 months according to the previous experiences.

Hi, sorry for this but I think you are the right group that could enlighten me on my worries.

Here are my details:
December 10, 2014
2172
CC (not yet charged)

My concern:
I am a spouse. My husband is the main applicant. There is one thing that worries me for a few months now. My father's first name in my birth certificate is not consistent with his first name in our marriage contract. e.g. "Paulito" and "Pauluto". Though in my background declaration form, I used the spelling written on my birth certificate.

Is that the reason why we're possible rejected? Since I've noticed that Dec 10 apps have been already charged and we're not.

Funds, points, and cap aside, I know we're safe.

Please if you know a same case but not rejected, please tell me.

Thank you very much for taking time.

Dear Members,

I have applied for FSW on 15th September 2015. I have received PER from CIC.

Till now everything is going right. But today I received an email stating that my application has been sent to Warsaw Visa office.

I have mentioned New Delhi, as Visa office in my application. I am not sure why it has been sent to Warsaw office.

any one here has faced such situation. Please let me know.

Thanks

Fully agree their procedure seem to have some sort of discretion inovolved on part of the reviewing officers.

DEAR MEMBERS PLEASE ADVISE.

I`ve submitted my FSW application on November 30th, 2014. I realized later that I might be short in one point from the passing score which means I have 66 points and not 67 points.
I intend to improve my score by taking the IELTS again soon. My question is will I be able to resubmit the application again given the fact that the CAP is not full and 2014 was the last year that the CIC accepts applications for the FSW program?. Please advise.

Two days ago they have charged my credit card for the processing fees.

Thank you

you can't send a new application at this point.
all you can do is patiently wait. Or send the new ielts result with a covering letter stating your DOB, noc no:, application reception date, UCI if known, aaddress and your request.
It may or may not be possible.
Good luck

Hi Optimistic
Thanks for your input. I am considering to do what you just suggested. At the same time, I read somewhere on CIC website the following

"You are not likely to qualify for immigration to Canada as a skilled worker. We recommend that you do not apply at this time; However, you may apply if you believe there are other factors that would help you to become economically established in Canada."

According to this statement on CIC website I am considering right now to write them a letter to explain how the 1 point in IELTS doesnt reflect my linguistic abilities which is evident also from my graduate studies, diplomas and work experience in the US an English speaking country, all of which are factors that I believe contribute to become economically established in Canada.

They have given clear guidelines about everything. But it doesn't matter in many of the cases.
still I have no idea how could you lose 1 point. If you can clarify that would be great.
And proceed with the letter.ASAP. All the best.

Thanks for the good wishes. I will proceed with the letter and give it a try.
Concerning the 1 point it is due to the language test.

I had the following scores on IELTS:
Speaking: 8.5; Reading: 7; Listening: 6.5; and Writing 7.5. The total points that I thought I would receive for language should be 23 points which then will make my passing score 67 points. Then someone told me that these scores make up to 22 points which would make all the difference. This is making me very worried.
