Seriously I could not able to explain,,,,it is making me so nervous and bit confusing ... overall very irritating....

Does any body has any idea in, how CIC is picking applications,,,, I have applied for NOC 2172 on 04 Nov 2014. and thought it would take minimum of 3 months to get CC charged. BUt after viewing this forum and knowing DEC 10th application has charged for the same NOC. truly many unanswerd questions were raised in mind.........

1.How the selection process is done by CIC.
2.My Application was pre assessed and had all genuine documents. even thought why I have not received any update on status.
3.IS there any further chance or should I leave hopes.

Response is much appreciated as it disturbed me completely and much awaiting for your answers.

Just my 2 pence on this...but have you checked with your bank whether there was any international charge on your CC declined by them?

The charging period has come down to an average of 60 days lately.

CIC picks applications in FIFO and since you say that you had submitted your application in the first week of November the following possibilities can happen :
1) CIC tried a CC transaction and it got declined.
2) Your application is deemed incomplete and being returned. (Honestly, could be possible as the apps currently being charged are Dec 10th and Nov is almost completed.)
3) Your application is undergoing initial processing. (Highly unlikely but this cannot be ruled out unless you receive your application back.)


Send a inquiry to CIC by email and they would respond after 8 to 10 weeks. Till then hope for the best.

Anything can happen as long as you don't receive your application back.

Has anyone been charged with CC or DD after 15th Dec with NOC 2172? My application was been delivered to CIC at 15th Dec with DD, frankly, i am a little nervous ...

Just my 2 pence on this...but have you checked with your bank whether there was any international charge on your CC declined by them?

I checked with my banker, stated that there was no decline on card from past 2 months.

it stopped after wards

what could be the reason ?

i dont think it will reach the cap cux of update till 19th dec it only reached 450 apps
