In order to be considered for HR Jobs, you must prove familiarity with Canadian employment laws and legislation which differ per province.

Whilst you might have some transferable skills from your home country; a HR role in Canada involves dealing with sensitive data and people and you must be able to prove that you have requisite soft skills to function in the canadian workplace.

I strongly advice enrolling for online hr certificate courses with Canadian institutions if you haven't done so.

At the same time, look for strong Canadian style hr resumes and compare it to your own. Notice the differences and redesign your own. Consider the job requirements for HR jobs in Canada and ask yourself if you meet the criteria. if not, do something to bridge the gap.

All the best.

I wanted to ask the exact same question. Even though it is a little early, but is there anyone who has done some research related to what courses to do and how to find HR jobs in canada? If yes, do share with the rest of us. Will be really helpful, as always :)

thanks in advance...

Useful info @ all of us. Thankyou for sharing.

If you have done any survey, could you please suggest/share us on certification courses and recognized Canadian institutes?

Hi meemee,

Yes, it will be very useful indeed if you share some info regarding certification courses and recognised institutes.

Thanks alot for the info. provided.

Please use the google search engine. It helps a lot. your certification would depend on your province. my personal is limited to alberta because i intend relocating there. and university of calgary offers hr courses online. Kindly broaden your search for your own purpose.

Hey guys is there anyone with 11 December 2014 that has not yet been charged yet? I'm getting worried seeing that others from 16 december are already charged now. Could there be something amiss with my application or I don't have to stress about it yet :-[?
