Would you mind sharing your requirement of COPR like due date of first landing and expiry date of PR status?
For the expiry date of PR status, i guess it should be five years after the COPR issue date.. anyone can answer?

Hi everyone! I am newish here, and have been asked to find out some things for a friend of mine, a Taiwanese citizen who is being sponsored for PR by her sister.

She has questions specifically about the Hukou; we've tried contacting the HKVO directly, but haven't received any responses:

First, she wants to confirm that the HKVO needs the document with her personal information, i.e. name, address, bithday, and records of moving and marriage (if applicable). (Apparently, in Taiwan the "hukou" can also refer to a register of all people living in a household, rather than just the personal information of one individual. She's not presently resident in Taiwan as she's working abroad temporarily, so doesn't have a current address there.)

Second, she wants to confirm that she doesn't need to provide her parents' hukou. They are deceased, so she wants to be sure that she doesn't need to provide proof of this with their hukou.

Finally, she is apparently able to get an official version of the hukou in English, i.e. the office can issue it directly in English, so removing the need for translation. Would this be acceptable, or would it be better to get the Chinese version and add a separate translation?

Thanks for your help, folks! I am sorry if these questions have been answered many times before - I haven't been able to find answers for them on here.

Dear All,

I have been asked for Hukou by HKVO. As I am a foreigner living in Beijing. Do Chinese HuKou applies to me?

Thanks for reply in advance

Regards,
Mike

Dear Bro,

I write the following. Please let me know it will work or not "Hukou [Household Register]: With regards to Hukou (household register), I would like to inform your esteemed office that I do not hold the Hukou [household register]. Hence, I request you to suggest me the next steps of the process."

Thanks

Cannot send u a PM, ur inbox is full it says...

I think it's fine...just include that u are not a citizen here.at times, they might be mixed up with all the tons of applications they are working on. When did u receive this request of additional document? Didn't it come with the RPRF and PCC in may?
