Dear Folks,
I am a regular follower of this forum but don't make any activity/posts. Here is my timeline below:-

Visa Office : CPC Ottawa
Application Received : 11 July 2014
PER : 05 November 2014
1st Additional Document : 10 December 2014
2nd Additional Document : 28 April 2015
MR & RPRF Received : 22 June 2015
Medical Done : 23 June 2015
Decision Made : 28 September 2015

I haven't heard back anything yet regarding my decision. Hope we all get through with this immigration and CPC Ottawa have mercy on all of us to close the program soon.

This is good news - first time cpc has made a decision on an fsw2014 case - thanks for posting, generally your dm will be positive, I can't recall any case where the dm was negative and they had not informed earlier.

I'd be happy if I was you .

Best of luck.

zorroo - Thanks for the reply. I will definitely keep you all posted now. The reason to post that, is also to let you know all that something is going there with CPC Ottawa.

Kerdek - Thanks for reply, but we all on mercy of CPC Ottawa. Whenever they will feel like, go for next step.

Nbminister - Even though i am worried, as they never informed me anything yet. My status has been changed on 30 September. I called them aand from there i just come to know that decision is made on 28th September. They did mentioned that we don't know what the decision is, but whatever it would be, you will get the notification in coming days for positive or negative. So am keeping my fingers crossed.

harrysaini - Thanks for the wish but the only reason to write here to motivate my friends that I am July 2014 applicant and still waiting patiently. While the people applied after few months got panic. I hope it would be positive decision but still i am with you all waiting on them.

PyrocasterX90 - Thank you for supporting me for positive decison but honestly i am very much tense now. We never know them, each case is unique and mostly nothing goes with the trend as they keep on changing with everything. I also hope it would be positive for me.

Once again i would thank all my friends for their good words and supporting each other while the stress is at its peak. Good luck to all of us.

Thanks joseph for your nice words. I wish you luck buddy :)

My time line has also been reviewed. "We started Processing....." changed from Feb 18(day I got PER) to Feb 4.
Even though I acknowledge that CIC is working on our cases, it doesn't excuse the fact that the time they ought to be using to advance progress on people's applications is rather spent correcting mistakes that should not have been made in the first place..

Anyways we continue to hope and pray that some day we will be out of their hands, as they continue to learn their ropes on immigration application processing.

Thanks bro....

I moved from NYC so I have been comparing Calgary with NYC and not US so have been missing NYC a little bit.

But US and Calgary are very very similar. Virtually no difference (i guess it would also depend on what city you go to). You will find everything here from starbucks to walmart to ikea. Calgary is very beautiful. You won't miss anything from US. Don't worry.

People are very very easygoing though as compared to US. For everything they give appointments rather than doing it now lol.

Nice. NYC to Calgary is as extreme as it can get. I am sure we will miss US for a bit but, considering most of us are moving after a considerable suffering from US Immigration system, I think it will be a welcome change. Stability is possibly what all of us were looking for and that is what we will get in Canada. I'm sure it will take some time to settle in but at least we won't be worried about immigration now. Plus we get an opportunity to become citizens in 5 years, versus 15 in US. :)

The same happened to me
My second line changed to "started processing your application on February 4, 2015" from 25-Jun, Actually I have received my PER on 23rd of Feb. I guess it is a good sign, our 11 months due date become closer.
The same here.
My second line changed to "started processing your application on January 23, 2015" from April 16.
I have received my PER on February 10.
.
The 11 months will be counted from the day which they received your file as per first line on ECAS.

Yeah... I liked Calgary downtown and transit is convenient. So its good so far.

Yes it surely feels independent as compared to US where the primary focus had changed to staying in country

About Calgary, I will give it enough time to like it and settle in... Or will plan to move to Vancouver or Toronto...

hope the CPC will make some movement for FSW 2014 cases this week.
