Dear friends,

I've applied for my wife's family sponsorship case and it's currently in process in London visa office, she had a 10 year multiple visit visa from the US and since her father works in the airlines she use to get free tickets to travel but I've already send all the travel history to the officer since she had frequent trips to the US but trip was never stayed for full 6 months or more then 6 months as I just cross checked her passports and it says 5 months and 12 days was the max trip. I'll share the question with you below please read and suggest if I should still send the clearernce to them since question says 6 months or more then 6 months.

FBI Clearernce: If your residence period in the US has been 6 months or longer the since the age of 18, provide an orignal FBI clearernce certificate.

But on cic website it says if you applied for a permanent resident case you need to submit FBI clearernce.

Please advise.
But VO is only asking if she stayed in the US for 6 or longer then 6 months so that's y I'm not sure if I should reply back with saying she never stayed for 6 or more then 6 months in the US but when I read something on cic website I'm confused now.

Just tell them that the maximum stay for your wife was 5 months which is less than the mandatory 6 month stay for providing FBI PCC.

I have seen couple of cases once you mention the stay was less than 6 months they do not ask for your PCC.

Hi, I have applied under FSWP in Dec 2014 from Toronto through CPC-O. My medical and RPRF have been done. If I wish to go on vacation in January for 5 weeks, will there be any issue to re-enter canada? Has anyone had same situation or experience please advise. Thanks

Yep harrysaini is correct, apart from this start working on FBI PCC as a backup plan, if in-case they are adamant to their request.

Harry, what about express entry applicants? Are they still getting PPR or it has been slowing down?

Hi guys,

I got married 2 weeks ago and now the question is should I report and add my husband to my file? he is already permanent resident but my concern is adding him would delay finalizing my application even more. But I guess not reporting it is also illegal. Any advice is appreciated.

firstly Congratulation ..you should tell the VO about you marriage and send the details of your Husband along with his PR card copy and other details.. i dont think it will slow down ur process but if you get it now it will be better otherwise once you reach canada you will need to get amendments in your details..which i think would be a time consuming process..

Thanks harry for the information. By the way, have you ordered GCMS notes or contacted call center or CPC by email to see what's going on in your file?

today, I get an email from CPC-Ottawa regarding my inquiry about the status of my application. They said "Your application appears nearly complete. It is presently in queue for a final review. We will be in contact with you to advise on any further actions that may be required on your part."
When did you submitted your application? And when did uou get medical request?
