no one knows much about what goes on in cpc-ottawa, but most application is always waiting on queue to be reviewed accordingly....its a computerized thing meaning each application is set for a specific date for review (provided if your doc was received)...I believe if all doc is received and medicals also receive, then they proceed with security check through another system.

as of this week, PPR has been damn slow :)
What else except to be patient

Humpf... It's so frustrating, but we do not have anything more to do. I wish we could have a way to speak with an officer to know further things about the process of our own application. Our lives are depending upon it! :-[

I know that spirit brother -- keep the faith & patience, it will happen soon...a +1 from me will console you :D

I am also patiently waiting, imagine the week I was expecting a PPR, then they requested me to update an important info on my schedule A form as a result of security check...Gods willing soon..we will smile :)

My package has the same thing. It has been more than 24 hours and Canada tracking says it has left Canada and USPS says its in Montreal. Really frustrating >:(

ll14 does your activation have a estimated delivery date? My package shows that it left Canada on the Canada post website and in the USPS it says it's in Montreal. No updates in the last 24 hrs getting nervous ...

Hello All,

I have sent my passports yesterday from USA using UPS and they are delivered to CPC-Ottawa today morning @ 10:45. Signed by YVES. I have purchased the 'Xpresspost envelope USA' shipping label using Canada credit card and included it along with passports. Not sure how long it will take to get the passports back, but I will update you folks as soon as the tracker gets activated.

Please some one confirm if your package was also received by YVES. Thank you!

Hello lpmc,

Any update on your tracker? My tracker is not active yet. Its already more than average time they take for passports. :( :( :( :'( :'( :'(

They said I should update the reason on the 12th Jan & send it via email...i did it that evening and got their usual acknowledgement letter which would be my proof that they received my documents...I haven't heard anything since then. 8)

At least it was a sign that they are moving foward with your application. I was concerned about the section of this same form where we have to input the info of our situation in the last 10 years. I didn't input all the 10 years, because neither my spouse nor I had anything relevant before 2008 and 2005, respectively (university students in our home country). I think they might ask... More delays! :-[ God, my anxiety is gonna kill me!

Not till now !!

Anxiety? I think I should help you call 911 to prevent hypertension...just kidding',, I think that doesn't matter - they will contact you should incase they need anything, mine was just a case where I forgot to fill in my US visa rejection in 2013, they probably found out through "security check" and wanted me to state the reason I said "NO" to section 6d...

don't worry brother - besides your medical just got received 20th jan...relax bro!!! :):D

Congratulations everyone who got their passport back with visa.

Does anyone know the last date PPR was issued by Ottawa? I am struggling to get the spreadsheet opened with filters. Tomorrow it will be 4 weeks my FBI PCC reached them and no response. They even didn't replied to query I posted on Jan 2nd. Looks like lots of backlog...

o_o - did you got reply for your request of visa stamping in the US?

No - no reply nothing. Yesterday, I postal mailed a written letter to CPC-O making the same request to print my visa in the US. I also did a CSE. Normally, they are required to respond to the email in 20 working days. Let's see in the second week of Feb.

Guys, Do I also have to submit a notarized copy of my PCC or the official translation is + the original document is enough? I'm sending the original document which is not in English . . .

official translation is + the original document is enough -> I think from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp
This is what I did for my PCC and they accepted it.
If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.

Guys, any one from the Egyptians received reply from CPC-Ottawa regarding stamping the visa in different office (Cairo embassy some how)? It has been 17 days since I send them an email and no reply yet ... should I be worried?

Hi Elkhatib

I am from Egypt also. Are they giving you a time limit to send your passport to Ottawa.
Why can't you send the passport to Ottawa instead of their reply that might exceed the time limit they are giving to you

appreciate your feedback
