Thanks for letting us know, it gives the rest of us hope...CPC went from taking 7-8 days to mail them back after receipt, to 14 days, just over the last few weeks, so frustrating and hard to plan around. Mine got to CPC on Jan 19th...I need it back for a job interview in Toronto like NOW.

Rathna, congratulations! Could you explain how was the process to receive? Are you in the US? Did you include a prepaid shipping label with Canada post? Were they delivered to your door or mailbox? How long it took to receive since package was activated?

Yeah I am in USA.. I inculded a prepaid shipping label from Canadapost in my package. They delivered to my door since I selected "signature required" feature on my prepaid label. It was delivered on 13th Jan and my tracker got activated on 01/23.

Does anyone know the last date PPR was issued by Ottawa? I am struggling to get the spreadsheet opened with filters. Tomorrow it will be 4 weeks my FBI PCC reached them and no response. They even didn't replied to query I posted on Jan 2nd. Looks like lots of backlog...

You have to send the original PCC + translation (can be a copy of the notarized translation). Don't forget to take a copy for you of your PCC. I sent mine to CPC Ottawa by e-mail, just in case.

no one knows much about what goes on in cpc-ottawa, but most application is always waiting on queue to be reviewed accordingly....its a computerized thing meaning each application is set for a specific date for review (provided if your doc was received)...I believe if all doc is received and medicals also receive, then they proceed with security check through another system.

as of this week, PPR has been damn slow

Hi Friends,

I would like to contact CPC-Ottawa regarding the status of my application since its almost 60 days since my PER and I haven't received any updates. Could someone tell me what is the best/fastest way to receive a response. I see many mid August applicants getting requests for MR, but no luck for me yet.

Should I send an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca or raise a CSE at https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=ottawa or is it better to do both.

The wait is really unsettling and I am worried a request for updated documents (if any) might somehow been missed.
