@ dhamisy..just wanted to know did you straight away got the MR on the 14th of did you have a SLU before and if you had a SLU before how long did you wait to get the MR .??

I havnt got the SLU..After the PER I got the MR straightway. My PER came on 26th Feb and received MR on 14th July so more than 4 months wait.

Also, can you confirm how long after the MR I have to sent the PCC. Is there a time limit ?

its generally mentioned on the mail that you have received..
for some its 60 days and for some its 90 days..
I would say ..have a look at the emails that you have received you will find it in them..
but all said and done send it as soon as possible to get your process moving further.!!

My passport reached on 8th and return label is from canadapost

I received my stamped passport yesterday July 16th and landed after work. For me, it took a week to be returned. Yours will come back soon. Good luck!

Hi all

I received our stamped passports today morning by God's grace. Thank you all much for the help and guidance that you gave me. Of course I would still need your support as always. I should say this forum was the only source of information that helped me to submit my application in Dec 2014 wherein I took 2 months to finish all my paper work and apply before EE started. Thank you all again.

Thanks, vinaj. Yours is probably on its way back to US! Mine arrived there in July 9th and returned in July 16th. I used Xpresspost through Canada Post. I am in Canada and that's maybe why it may be faster than the international mail. Activated? you mean if I could track the label online when it was sent out?

in terms of time that you got you will have to check the email sent to you. I don't think sending soft copies will work as they usually specify clearly in the email that they want original document in paper form and the only time i know of someone was able to get an exemption is from war zone countries. I suggest you ask for an extension for you to obtain a new police certificate as this will be the most efficient.

I reckon I was just being impatient .. but no .. honestly I got it done cause I dint want to waste time when I got the medicals. Although I should have mailed it to CPC Ottawa instead Nova Scotia. Anyway.. I managed to mess it up .. Do you know how long do we get to submit these documents ? given then PCC takes almost 5 weeks if I am to do it again..

Also.. I do have soft copies of my PCC should I give it a try my mailing that to the Program Assistant and requesting them to consider with the Canada Post receipt of the documents ??

Passports were sent to New York on July 9. Received by consulate on July 10.
Return tracker got activated today, and passports will be delivered on July 18. Now keeping my fingers crossed.
