Hello Experts,

I have a quick question. I got my passport back with the Canadian PR last month with the expiration of Feb 2016.

Do I have to do anything from my side between the time now and landing in Canada.

I have also applied for US Permanent residency which I am very hopefully to get in few months. Is there anyway I can save both my Canada PR and my US residency?

Any advise would be highly appreciated.

Ottawa received my passport on May 28,2015. My return tracker is not activated yet. Do I need to check Canada Post?

I think you should just wait till the end of this week. As far as I know it is usually taking 2 weeks to get the passport.

I have been reading through many posts and it seems like no PPR emails have been received past May 30th DM. Can someone confirm otherwise?

I didn't write any on the envelop either. I sent an email to CPC-Ottawa for my tracking number since I forgot to get it! How silly of me haha! and they replied giving me my tracking number and that they sent it yesterday. Tracking number still not showing anything until now. So I guess It depends to Canada post.. they received my package June 1. Hope this helps anyone.

My case was bit different. received PPR on 29th night & ECAS updated to DM on 1st.

After around 10-15 calls, finally got hold of an agent who informed me that they sent me an email on 27th May (relieved that it was passport request) and I should have received it. I haven't received it so she said she will request the office to send it again which should take around couple of days to come. I hope that happens before this Friday.

Those who can call should call and others should at least send one email to CPC-O to let your case officer know (this is my opinion)

Yeah keep trying. In the meanwhile, if you haven't, send an email so you can have a proof that you never received passport request and so you contacted them.

I couldn't get through to an agent. It was busy for all the previous times. Probably bad timing

Try calling but if not, atleast send them an email that you haven't received any correspondence from them since DM
