Hello I got a request of resubmitting some documents. There was one check box mark was missing in 1344. CiC then sent me a letter saying they will not process the application. I then resubmit and request to reconsider . Does anybody face the same situation? Thanks in advance

Our CIC officer told us in case of emergency we can leave canada and after going to our own country we have to apply for a visa with COPR. The emabassy will give visa mentioning the status as permanent resident

I will recommend you to visit their office. I received my SIN number just after the day of my landing going directly to their office. It took me only 15 minutes. Officer was super fast. She just asked me about my passport, COPR letter and old SIN.

My status got updated on May 20 as decision made. I received passport request on May 26. Though my officer was different.
