Dear All

I got PER today just after 7 days of credit card charged

App date: 22/10/14
NOC: 4011
CC charged : 15/01/15
PER: 22/01/15
VO: London

Any one here applied from Stockholm, Sweden?

Hi

Got PER 5th Jan. No MR yet. Also London.
It seems London Visa office is slow to act.

Hello guys

I really need your advise and any kind of help is extremely appreciated.

My brother has send a money order with his application (22th Oct). Recently he has called his bank in Canada to check if the money order was cached or not. Apparently after the 3rd call his bank has blocked the money order (without a warning >:( >:( >:() .
They have told him he can either get a refund or they will cache it if CIC call them when it wants to cache it.

1. Does CIC tries money order more than 1 time if it doesn't work the first time (like cc)?

2. Do you think he can ring/email CIC and ask them to call the bank because of the problem?

Hopefully you can help me to find answer to the questions somehow.

Thank you in advance.

You are the fastest ever to receive PER after CC charge. You should be placed in Guinness record book. ??? :-*

Hi everyone

I already submitted the FSW application in last Dec. I have a question about the apartment rental information. I lived in an apartment with my friend, and he is the landlord. Now he needs to move out and other person will come to pick up the lease. I still stay there.
My question is "do I need to update the information to CIC for my FSW application?"

Thanks in advance for any reply.

Hey everyone,

I reside in Los Angeles and the CIO sydney office received my app 10/21. I Just got my PER yesterday (1/21/15). When I use the application number to check my status it says "In Process" (clicking it gives me "We received your app on 10/21").

I'm really new here and can someone enlighten me on the true significance of the PER. Can one take this as a good sign? Do many apps get rejected after this stage? If not, at what stage can one say with good certainty that you're pretty much in?

Thank you guys very much! your advice is truly appreciated! :)

Hi 747-captain!

PER is a so called "Golden" email and its a positive sign for sure!! ;D People usually do not see any rejections after this however if they find any misleading data in your application then your app might be rejected. Once you clear your Medicals I think you're all set!!

In a nutshell, Be Happy, you will be in Canada soon....

What is your NOC?

Yes it's a good sign....you have crossed the first and major hurdle in the process....yes there are chances of rejection after these stage but very rarely as long as your documents and back ground details are authentic and you do not have any health issues...it should all be fine from here....wait till your file is processed to next stage and medicals are requested

Nice one Giftmas... ;)

This is a mail from CIIP. They perhaps want to close your file regarding your registration for the CIIP event. I don't think they are even empowered to close or recommend closure of FSW files.

Dear CIIP Client,

You had confirmed your intention to participate in the Group Orientation (GO) that took place in Bangalore this week, however you failed to attend and we have not received an explanation for your absence.

The Government of Canada had committed significant resources to deliver the GO and the personalized My Action Plan (MAP) sessions. In addition, we had turned away a number of clients because the session was full. Your failure to attend has therefore not only deprived others of the opportunity to participate, but also wasted Canadian resources. Moreover, you have not taken advantage of a free service designed to enhance your job prospects in Canada.

Unless we hear from you within the next two days, we will initiate the process to close your file.

Hello Folks,

I am a little confused with my status. I managed to get my UCI# from CIC and ecas shows "In Process" however I do not know if cc was charged because I used my consultant's cc. I am really not sure if ecas status "In Process" is a good sign or not?

Did this happen to anyone on this forum? Can somebody suggest what this would mean?

Thanks in advance!

Hey..

Just click on the "In Process" tab shown on ECAS and on the next page if you find this line " We received your application on....." then it means the CC has been charged and you are few days away from the Golden Email. *Fingers Crossed*. You'll get PER hopefully in first couple of days in the coming week.

Good Luck and Keep us updated! :)
