Hi guys.

I'm an October 14th applicant under NOC 2172, my CC was charged on December 18th. I had an UCI from previous travels to Canada and as of this morning my application is showing up on the ECAs webpage as "In Progress". I haven't received PER mail yet, is this a good sign?

Thanks

Mine is 20th October application and cc was charged on 23rd december ( NOC 2172) ...I guess it might be in this week or next week as per current trend...

To whom it may concern. I hope this info will clarify some anbiguity to many people.

My friend has got his file back just now.
NOC 4011
15 October applicant
Letter date is Decmber 3rd
Reason for returning the file: Job duties and he sent a copy of WES instead of the original.

Can you please elaborate some more on job duties.. was it mismatching or not as per the NOC code ??

My passports have been dispatched from NDVO to VFS, Hyderabad today. I should have them in my hand by tomorrow.

I sent my passports on 8th Jan.

I am glad to let you know I got my Passport request yesterday from LVO. Thank you all so much for all your support and I pray for everyone awaiting response especially from LVO that it will be quick and favourable in Jesus name. I will update the spreadsheet later.

I was asked to check the attachment in the mail for further details but there was no attachment. Has anyone else been in my shoes before and can anyone tell me what is normally included in this attachment as well as how to send the passports across to LVO? I have emailed LVO since yesterday but no response yet.

Timeline as below;

Application received - 11/06/2014
CC Charged - 29/09/2014
PER - 08/10/2014
Medical Request - 17/11/2014
Medicals done - 05/12/2014
Medicals received - 19/12/2014
Passport Request - 12/01/2015

Also to add, I forgot to include details of previous visa rejections from other countries so following advice on this forum, I updated the scheduled background declaration form and using the CSE link, sent it to LVO around Christmas. It seems this did not have much impact on the application so be rest assured if you are in the same situation.

Congrats Friend !! as per your timeline , it seems quite smooth process for you :P :P :P

I am LVO applicant. I applied for FSW2014 while I was in UAE. Now I am in Canada on Student Visa since 9/19/2014. My timeline is as below:

File reached---6/3/2014
PER---9/26/2014
Documents request (PCC and BC of my wife) ---10/10/2014
Medical and RPRF request----11/12/2014

I done my medical on 12/5/2014 and my wife & child had medical on 11/24/2014. I also paid my RPRF on 12/5/2014.

I sent all the details by email and by surface mail also.

Since then I haven't received any response from LVO. Even my ECAS is still not updated with "medical received". I want to mention here that few blood spots were observed in my urine, but I haven't received any re-medical request till today.

Can someone let me know if it is normal. Shall I have to prepare myself for re-medical? How much time LVO takes to update the medical results?

What should be the threshold when I should start worrying about my application?
please check your inbox, I sent you a PM

Hi Guys,

NDVO Applicant who got second line updated and waiting for MR for more than 3 weeks please reply the following
1. Do you have a travel history outside India
2. Have you submitted the experience letter on company letterhead signed by HR or on plain paper/affidavit signed by colleague /supervisor
3.do you have a travel history (developing nations)

I'm not sure bit these could be the reasons why the medicals request is taking more time, just my guess, if anyone have more information please advise.

yes it could be reason,

as partner agencies have to find out the security check and background follow up..
so it may delay the case
:)

Hello my friend,
First Congratulations...

One question : How do you know that your passport has been dispatched? Is there any communication about this ?

Another question for those who are getting or already got the passport back: When is the 4th line of ECAS updated? at the moment your visa is issued? or maybe, for some cases, later then that?
I am a little bit desperate because SPVO requested my PP last week, I sent them on Friday and the PP was received by the Visa Office yesterday morning. However I have an international business trip planned for Jan 24th. That means, if I don't get the passports back in 2 weeks I will have a big problem....

Could somebody help me answer this? my VO is São Paulo - Brazil.

Thanks a lot!!

The first batch of NDVO PPRs arrived in earlier than I thought - in late Dec. The new wave is likely held by security clearance (if anyone from your timelines had GCMS notes, we would know for sure). Security reports might come from partner agencies in groups, and then the officers move on to complete the assessments and reach a decision. This may not follow FIFO method because of different backgrounds (for instance, an adverse is traced for a person who shares the same name with an applicant. It's a coincidence, but the processing is delayed). As a tip of the iceberg an applicant gets PPR.

thanx for sharing d information but i did not get ur point. does dat mean if d background/security check of some one in d batch ( as assumed by u d security checks r done in batches ) has to be investigated in detail d whole bunch will be delayed.

further i m wondering how much d PPR can be delayed after d medicals i mean can dis go beyond 120 days.
REGARDS.

Happy to announce that I have cleared Interview which was scheduled Mid-January 2015
