I got my PER on last Friday.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office. ""

I did not submit my PCC with initial application.
I am working from London on one project and coming back to India for 18 days vacation. I can't apply for PCC here in London because they want my passport for two weeks.

I can apply from India.

Please answer my questions below.

1) how many days will take to transfer my file to NDVO from canada?
2) Will NDVO will give me time for PCC ?
3) what is AOR ?
4) I have spent more than one year in two states in India, Do I have to get PCC from both the state ?

Please answer my questions below.

1) how many days will take to transfer my file to NDVO from canada? Electronically should be done within a day or two. Physical file might take 7-10 business days depending on batch due date.
2) Will NDVO will give me time for PCC ? Yes, they will. Probably 45-60 days.
3) what is AOR ? AOR is Acknowledgement of Receipt. NDVO is not sending AOR this time, so not an issue.
4) I have spent more than one year in two states in India, Do I have to get PCC from both the state ? No. One PCC for one country.

Hello All,

Wish you all the best !, start of week and hope we will have many more PPRs this week !

My third line got updated, after one week of my medicals done.

Now, I foresee the travel from my employer, had anyone changed VO after medicals for PPR? is that allowed?

If anyone has experience in such situation, please help me with your suggestions.

Thank you all !

It is kinda of different for each state or city actually.

For Hyderabad, You will need to book an appointment before visiting PSK. For bangalore, you do not need an appointment.

If your current address is same as on your passport. PCC will be issued on the same day. (only passport copies are sufficient as address proof)

If your current address is different as on your passport but you live in the same city. Then as well, you may get the PCC on the same day. You will need to submit an address proof (Refer to https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/popuponline/AttachmentAdvisorSub?subDocID=7001&confirmDOB=7001) for more information (This was from my personal experience)

If your current address is different as on your passport and you live in different city. You will need to submit an address proof (Refer to https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/popuponline/AttachmentAdvisorSub?subDocID=7001&confirmDOB=7001) for more information. Your file will then be sent to PVC (Police Verification Cell). One of the constables from your local Police Station will visit your place and handover some documents which you will need to submit at the police station. Once they receive the documents. You will receive a confirmation from PSK once your PCC is ready to be collected (One of my friends had to go through process)

Yes, go to police station. Pass 5 x 1000 rupees under the table and ask policemen this same question. He'll give you and answer there an then! ;D :) :P

Or if you prefer a cheaper option, then visit http://www.wikihow.com/Apply-for-the-Police-Clearance-Certificate-in-India

Average time from PER to MR is 50 days for NDVO. You can expect MR by Late January or early Feb considering the holidays season
