Does anybody know the process for PCC in India ?

How many days take to get it normally ? Do we have to submit passport along with the application at PSK ?

Take an appointment (http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink) and visit them. If your Current Indian residence is same as mentioned in your passport, they will issue you two sets of PCC letter on the same day.

Guys I have doubt regarding payment of Right of Permanent Residence fee. How do we pay for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee? I tried to look up on site but it is not clear.
If you guys know, please let me know.

Its depends on application to application... If you stayed in a country other than your home country for more than 6 months continuously then CIC will do background check in that nation and based on the replies from those agencies they are doing on behalf of CIC... In one previous post somebody mentioned those people staying middle east/gulf is getting slowly....(In case of NDVO)....this could be due t o delaying in replying by those orgs in those countries.... people without any previous travel history will get it soon since those steps are waived off for them.....am i right?

Yes u r right.......My wife and I stayed in US for more than 6 month in different different cities. But in US it will be easy na....If they see in SSN it will show all the datas....ok will wait.......Almost 3 months going to be end after submitted MR.......GOD please help us....

Yes, go to police station. Pass 5 x 1000 rupees under the table and ask policemen this same question. He'll give you and answer there an then! ;D

Hope all is well and the season is approaching with joy. I received my PER on the 24th November and occasionally would check my status online through ecas. This morning the site is not displaying my info, has anyone experienced this or is the site down? Do you think that they are updating my info?

I received my PER yesterday and how long it will take for transferring file to local VO (My VO is NDVO).
In the meantime, shall I apply for Singapore Certificate of Clearance and how long it's valid?

My file sent back from CIC to me on 30th October according to their email to me,but unfortunately till now no reach, I want reapply again but the only document which I need from the old file is the original ECA report.i asked the them (PEBC)to reissue another original one but they refused.
