In Schedule A - Background Declaration it says in the end Do not complete the following section now as you may be asked to sign it in front of a representative of Canadian government. So should I leave it blank?

Hi Everyone,

Can someone explain the stages of ECAS and what does each stage mean? I just got the 1st update on ECAS as "in process". Does it mean I have per as I still haven't recieved per, though my dd was charged somewhere between 25-28 NOC. I'm 28th Aug applicant NOC 0911.

Finally after reading a few posts here on travel forms .. I read somewhere that the travel forms can be checked during background checking .. And that happens after the file reaches VO .. I was advised by my lawyer that travel history for spouse is not needed hence we submitted only my Wife's travel history because she is the main applicant . So can we now send my travel history as well .. Or should we wait till the file reaches VO.? If it gets through the completeness check ..! A little confused seniors and all experts please help .. We are 14th october applicants hence wouldnt wana waste a single minute .. Thanks in advance .

One of my friend case has been rejected on work experience "Your letter of employment must clearly give evidence showing that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement and that you have performed a substantial number of main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of NOC including all the essential duties for that period of employment.If your letter doesnt provide us with this information you will not meet regulation 10 of IRPA.

what could be the reason.He applied under 2133 NOC code and was working in Telecommunication having Electrical engineering degree.

Some of his duties are relevant to Power and Telecommunication Fixed network/ACCESS equipments.

He is again submitting with new work experience letter, should he change his designation or expereience.

Appreciate your quick response Plz.

Need your advise. My couzin wants to apply for other financial officer noc 1114, now he is working as operational risk analyst, now in noc 1114 example job titles do not iclude operational risk analyst. Is it necessary that his job title shud match to apply for noc 1114?

i am soo worry .. i called the doctor yesterday and told me that he submitted it online since 2 weeks ... visa office Ottawa
can any one advise ???

Two weeks have passed since the first attempt of CIC to charge on my credit card but was unsuccessful due to card limit. Until now no second attempt has been made. Will I assume that I get my application back?

I've seen your question reposted again and again. You must be really stressed but there is nothing you can do right now but wait.
I would like to say that you will be charged again but no idea if that's its possible.
Please share your news with the forum, another person might be in your same situation in the future.

You need to do have supporting document which can be birth certificate or school certificate which can be used as proof. However, same needs to be rectified in your passport urgently. Meanwhile you can also do an affidavit on same and attach the copy in the application itself explaining the situation. In this case don't forget to attach supporting documents whatsoever.

If you can get 70-80% great, but if u cant no problem, Forum members has mentioned that 30% genuine JD got them PER
Think about the aftermath before you advise someone, in case interview would be required from them by their VO later.

Don't worry ihsmina it will update within this week definitely... I waited for 16 days for it to update. Actually, it took 8 working days from the time my medical was uploaded by hospital (25th Nov). Find out from your hospital the exact date when they uploaded your result. It takes around 7-10 working days from there.

In this case I recommend you to write an explanation to CIC that in passport, name spelling is incorrect and also refer to the supporting docs (including affidavit/bc/school certificate). In application you should write the correct spelling even its not same as passport. Also if possible get the passport name corrected asap so that you can send a copy later with correct name.

I can only advice from my own experience and what I have read on this forum so far.
I am sure a genuine letter with strong points do it's job even if it doesn't reach the number of 70-80%
