Hi. Could anyone help me finding the answer to the question relating to the Cap. Application package arrived at CIO on August 21, 2014. Until now, neither I got any number from CIO nor my Credit Card was charged. The CIC website was updated today. The number of applications received by CIC for NOC1112 is 1000. What does it mean for me?

Well, to be very honest. It seems the cap for 1112 is filled by mid July.

my VO supposed to be Mexico but I'm in TOronto studying so I read here that they may changed my VO to Ottawa or not, How do I know this if it doesnt say anything in my PER email, should I assume my VO remains Mexico? thanks and please +1 for my PER :-*

It seems CIC's focus these days is on reaching MR and nothing else. If you look at the numbers in the SS (App Status by Rcvd. Date), the MR column and compare to PPR column it is very clear. The MR value is very high percentage of the total (actually if you sum up all the columns up to MR it will be more clear) and at the same time PPR is very low for all days from the first of May and till now. This is kinda obvious, they want to roll the ball to the applicants' court and clear the backlog as fast as possible.

i will agree with you totally, but i think my c-check was completed in 74 days, because as i was told by the customer care lady, the details were entered into the computer on 14th october, now with july 24th charges started, am hecking feeling nervousssssssss, God i pray for the best outcome. and my noc jumped from 72 to 113

That means my application may not have passed the c-check yet but will take another 10 days to be added to this list ?

Write them an email to get an update on your app status.

This update is relevant to apps received up to ~August 20. Whether you make it within the cap or not though remains unknown because the inflow of applications is not stable, especially with medical NOCs which require long ECA process.

I wrote Sydney Nova Scotia coz I read it online in a blog. Now I read CIC guideline and it says write you visa office. Which is london I think in my case as I live in UAE.
So what should I do ? Please quick tell.

This year they don't reject applications on this basis although their OB says otherwise. Probably they will correct it on your behalf. Alternatively you can send Addendum, but it is not guaranteed that they will match it with your app.

now that CIC website for CAPs are updated, these numbers mean the applications received? or those which Completeness check has been done? or something else?
can we say the current CAP shown is upto which date?!
