What a relaxed afternoon for me. Just received Medicals and RPRF request from NDVO. Here are the timelines:

App Submitted: 21st May
CC Charge: 3rd September.
PER: 12th September.
ECAS 2nd Line Updated 2nd November.
Medicals: 3rd November.

FYI: I submitted PCC and PVC from Bangalore Commissioner's office which was valid for 6 months and it expired on 10th of October. But I was not asked for a new PCC. So, think it entirely depends on the Visa Officer.

I am in my office currently and am not able to update the spreadsheet. Will do it as soon as I reach home.
Thank you every one over here for your wishes, your wish just came true for me.

Congrats and +1 to you !!

Hello Seniors,

My Visa Office is NDVO. However, being in US right now I have my Medicals done in USA.
Here doctor has not given us any documents from his side.
But my consultant said that we need to submit original eMedical Tracking Sheet (we receive from doctor) to Visa office.

Please suggest. Are we suppose to submit this eMedical Tracking Sheet to CIC.

P.S. My ECA status is updated to "Medical has been received". I have still not submitted PCC and paid fees.

It's done go ahead with PCC

Raven,

I had mentioned NO after reading from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp, the OFFICIAL WEBSITE which you can't dispute.

Extract pasted here :

"Do you intend to reside in Quebec?

If you intend to reside in the province of Quebec, you do not qualify under the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Under the Canada-Quebec Accord on Immigration, Quebec establishes its own immigration requirements and selects foreign nationals who will adapt well to living in Quebec. If you intend to come to Canada as a Quebec-selected skilled worker, you must first apply to the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Diversité et de l'Inclusion (MIDI) (in French only). "

Hence had mentioned that though technically allowed, it may lead to problems. I agree with Future_canadian that after PR card is issued after 3-4 months, no one can stop you from working in Quebec, but why take a chance ? If you want to work in Quebec, why not apply through their dedicated programme ?

Hope we are on the same page.

The answer is in the quote you pasted...."If you intend to come to Canada as a Quebec-selected skilled worker". ......here the intend is to come to Canada as Federal selected..
:) :D ;D. Thank you.

Yes because he used my card for making payment.

All the best to all 18th july appplicants. Cic is moving fast for charging. Expect slowdown in charging this week because they will be busy in issuing PER after bulk charging

Great...I forsee now more dates getting covered each day, as no of applications must be thinning relative to May, June period....just a guess! Thanks!

You haven't read the other line which says "If you intend to reside in the province of Quebec, you do not qualify under the Federal Skilled Worker Program." :D :D :D

Though I agree technically no one will be able to stop you from working in Quebec.

Wanted to share my experience with Indian Consulate NY.

For those of you who are applying PCC at Indian Consulate NY by mail.

It took exactly 10 business days to get back my PCC and passport.

how long is for PER after CC charge?

Can I use my UCI to check status before PER and after charging? I have 2 UCIs

Right..at the time of application, the intend was maybe "ON". But it is only intend at the time of application. And one finds jobless in ON and has a good offer in Qubec, the intend obviously gets refined..just a case to highlight that after PR issued, it is our choice, assuming our original intended location is not suiting us.

Hello,
What is next step after getting PER?
Do i have to sit back and wait for MR or I have to apply for it or something else?

Your file will be transferred to your Local VO and you are good to go from there.
