Excuse me friends, how long does it take to have PR card after landing and Is it possible to leave canada for one year after getting PR and come back later.
Please Advise
As far as Ed Qual is considered, it is complete, since you have MS degree, and you have attached both the grad and undergrad marksheets. But, many times 10th certificate comes handy incase of Date of Birth / Parent's name linkage. But you can forget now! All the best!vinaj said:All,
I sent the application on 10/28 and it reached today 11/03.
I have an MS degree so I sent original WES report and copies of degree certificate and Transcript from my Undergrad and Grad. I didn't send my 10th and 12th marksheets or any such documents. Is it okay or is my application incomplete?
Thanks
Thanks for this information. It was helpful to me too, since I'm in the process of sending my application in a day or two.trk1 said:As far as Ed Qual is considered, it is complete, since you have MS degree, and you have attached both the grad and undergrad marksheets. I love to read the posts of Future_canadian & Diplomatru...thanks to both for sharing lot of info, particularly for an outsider to Canada! Keep the healthy debate on! Thanks!Diplomatru said:Oh really? So you can't apply for, say, DL until you get a PR card? Or permanent SIN?
According to your logic without this essential card you are pretty much nobody, which is not true. Any third party in Canada will acknowledge your landing stamp on immigration visa as PROOF OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE. Unless you want to move out of Canada, which is not something I was commenting in my previous post, you are absolutely good with your passport and you CAN MOVE AND WORK INSIDE CANADA WHEREVER YOU WANT. Do you still need to apply for PR card? Sure, it's more convenient and safe to carry.

Congrats to your friend.neverbackdown said:Yes because he used my card for making payment.
All the best to all 18th july appplicants. Cic is moving fast for charging. Expect slowdown in charging this week because they will be busy in issuing PER after bulk charging
Congrats and +1 to you !!cannsfs said:Today I received MR, PCC and RPRF email from NDVO But the ECAS status has no 2nd line update.
Application Date; 30 May 2014
PER Received: 24 Sep 2014
MR Mail: 03 Nov 2014
How do I pay RPRF fee online? I searched various immigration forums and CIC websites but there is no proper link redirecting to pay RPRF fee online for NDVO. Is it better to opt for DD in INR?
Seniors, could you please guide me.
