45 days from onshore application you can come back if you have a reliable address to receive the card by post

All,

I sent the application on 10/28 and it reached today 11/03.

I have an MS degree so I sent original WES report and copies of degree certificate and Transcript from my Undergrad and Grad. I didn't send my 10th and 12th marksheets or any such documents. Is it okay or is my application incomplete?

Thanks

As far as Ed Qual is considered, it is complete, since you have MS degree, and you have attached both the grad and undergrad marksheets. But, many times 10th certificate comes handy incase of Date of Birth / Parent's name linkage. But you can forget now! All the best!

Thanks for this information. It was helpful to me too, since I'm in the process of sending my application in a day or two. ;)

Hello Seniors,

My Visa Office is NDVO. However, being in US right now I have my Medicals done in USA.
Here doctor has not given us any documents from his side.
But my consultant said that we need to submit original eMedical Tracking Sheet (we receive from doctor) to Visa office.

Please suggest. Are we suppose to submit this eMedical Tracking Sheet to CIC.

P.S. My ECA status is updated to "Medical has been received". I have still not submitted PCC and paid fees.

they are running separate programs to maintain their language only, they encourage french educated people willing to immigrate to canada to apply to quebec, but but but an FSW has the right to work anywhere including Quebec , i dunno why its that hard to understand it !!!!

Raven,

I had mentioned NO after reading from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp, the OFFICIAL WEBSITE which you can't dispute.

Extract pasted here :

"Do you intend to reside in Quebec?

If you intend to reside in the province of Quebec, you do not qualify under the Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Under the Canada-Quebec Accord on Immigration, Quebec establishes its own immigration requirements and selects foreign nationals who will adapt well to living in Quebec. If you intend to come to Canada as a Quebec-selected skilled worker, you must first apply to the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion (MIDI) (in French only). "

Hence had mentioned that though technically allowed, it may lead to problems. I agree with Future_canadian that after PR card is issued after 3-4 months, no one can stop you from working in Quebec, but why take a chance ? If you want to work in Quebec, why not apply through their dedicated programme ?

Hope we are on the same page.

Oh really? So you can't apply for, say, DL until you get a PR card? Or permanent SIN?
According to your logic without this essential card you are pretty much nobody, which is not true. Any third party in Canada will acknowledge your landing stamp on immigration visa as PROOF OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE. Unless you want to move out of Canada, which is not something I was commenting in my previous post, you are absolutely good with your passport and you CAN MOVE AND WORK INSIDE CANADA WHEREVER YOU WANT. Do you still need to apply for PR card? Sure, it's more convenient and safe to carry.

I love to read the posts of Future_canadian & Diplomatru...thanks to both for sharing lot of info, particularly for an outsider to Canada! Keep the healthy debate on! Thanks!

Thanks for your replay

But is it possible after landing to leave canada more than one year without any problem

Thanks in Advance

Thank you. I have already attached clear copy of BC which has my and my parent's correct names in English and it matches with passport. So I think it should be fine.

Thanks for responding.

Yes because he used my card for making payment.

All the best to all 18th july appplicants. Cic is moving fast for charging. Expect slowdown in charging this week because they will be busy in issuing PER after bulk charging

Congrats to your friend.

Today I received MR, PCC and RPRF email from NDVO :) But the ECAS status has no 2nd line update.

Application Date; 30 May 2014
PER Received: 24 Sep 2014
MR Mail: 03 Nov 2014

How do I pay RPRF fee online? I searched various immigration forums and CIC websites but there is no proper link redirecting to pay RPRF fee online for NDVO. Is it better to opt for DD in INR?

Seniors, could you please guide me.

Congrats and +1 to you !!
