July 18th...Charged ?

Is this true ?

Yes because he used my card for making payment.

All the best to all 18th july appplicants. Cic is moving fast for charging. Expect slowdown in charging this week because they will be busy in issuing PER after bulk charging

What comes next?
Will I receive by email some sort of confirmation?

Thanks alot

No, you won't. Wait ~110 days for payment charge.

I stand corrected. After PR card issued, it is fine to move to Quebec for work purpose.. But prior to that I maintain my stand.
Hi Canol, way to go! We err, but then we correct ourselves. That is the forum all about! All the best!

Hello,
What is next step after getting PER?
Do i have to sit back and wait for MR or I have to apply for it or something else?

Not true. The PR card allows PRs to enter and leave Canada with the card only. Prior to obtaining the card you need your passport to enter and leave Canada, and if you are from a country that requires you to have a visa to enter Canada, you need a valid visa to enter Canada. The FSW visa is a single entry visa. Just because you have a landing stamp on it doesn't mean they'll let you enter again on the same visa if you leave Canada. They won't! You'd need your PR card to re-enter.

So yes landing makes you a PR, but the card is not just a card. It's absolutely essential for living life as a PR including entering and leaving the country.

right!!

I guess cio is charging some priority visa applicants than others like i m 9 july applicant Lvo .No cc charged yet.As per my knowledge i checked three times my documents before sending and application was complete

There are no priority applicants. Every app is approached on first come first serve basis.

My calculation is, with DD payment it takes 3 months and 25 dys to get ur PER and this is exactly what happened with me.

Goodluck to you all !!

Dears,

Excuse me friends, how long does it take to have PR card after landing and Is it possible to leave canada for one year after getting PR and come back later.

Please Advise

All,

I sent the application on 10/28 and it reached today 11/03.

I have an MS degree so I sent original WES report and copies of degree certificate and Transcript from my Undergrad and Grad. I didn't send my 10th and 12th marksheets or any such documents. Is it okay or is my application incomplete?

Thanks
