We have been following the forum for a while and have greatly learned a lot from the experiences of members. Let me give you all a snapshot of our journey so far.
Date of Receipt of Application : 16th June, 2014 ( as per Blue Dart - DHL)
Place from where we applied : Mumbai, India
Category : 2171 (edited,)
Mode of Payment : DD (issued by ICICI Bank, Mumbai ) with supposedly a validity of 6 months.
It appears from the post that 16th June, 2014 applications have been charged. Since this is our first time, we do not have a UCI number.
Can anyone give inputs on how to find the status of the DD ?? From previous posts, it seems like Local BAnks in India do not seem to get a hang of the dd encashment. Is an Email (PER) from cic the only way to know the status for first time applicant who have applied with DD?
