I am so shattered right now. We had studied for IELTS together, prepared our file & sent them together, I just got my PER today but don't know if I can break this news to him. I wish he would get the PER instead of me. He was so hopeful... wow... I don't know what to do...

He should reapply or try for another NOC or see if there are other ways to immigrate. Immigration is so stressful even when it goes as you wish.

Hello Canol and seniors Please help.

I am at the point of reference letter and from the last 15 days i am in confused state as whether should i talk to HR for Reference letter or Leave it as not sure what will be the impact of this on my current Job.
My manager is ready to give me the reference letter on a plain Paper.
Please suggest

1) Whether I will go with My Manager reference letter on a plain paper along with his Visiting Card.
2) Whether The Reference letter on a plain Paper need to be notarized,
3) Thus we have to make an affidavit saying that HR of my company is not giving Reference letter ???(of which i am not sure whether they will provide or not. they will ask a lot of questions and i have to explain it to them then to my senior manager and might be the unit Head which is really a great headache)
4) i also read in the form as we have to mention the Annual Salary thus it is ok if we mention the salary of the last Month only???
5) Also Please suggest as if the resume and Reference letter have same content thus it is ok ????

PLease suggest guys this is the only thing which is creating problem for me and delaying my application
I am looking for 2281

If a company letter would be hard to get a plain paper letter from your manager is just fine. Try to get the annual salary in there not just the last month. Make sure to mention your weekly working hours or full-time status. You don't have to submit a resume so don't bother.

Thanks 24, So Instead of making a affidavit that HR is not giving reference letter we can attach the mail communication that is good.
My major concern is that i am not able to ask my HR, as i am not sure what will be the consequences of this. So thats why asking the suggestions what to do, as I think it is also not right as without asking HR and creating an Affidavit that HR is not giving reference Letter. As we do not have any Such policy mentioned were HR Says they do not provide reference letter. Please suggest what to do with 3 point whether i should go HR or not.
I just sent u a Personal Message for what u can say to ur employer for reference letter;) :)

In my job duties certificate it is written that we are issuing this letter for higher study. I hve seen few guys certificate clearly says certificate is issued for immigration purpose. Will my certificate works or shall I ask my senior to create a newer one for me?

mine says the same. Its like a disclaimer. Should not be a problem.

Is this your only experience u have. Have u worked for any other company before for atleast one year under similar role?

Yes, I was working in my Previous company and that company was sister concern of this company.
our previous company is closed now as all the employees were told to resign from that company and join our present company.

this is what i was discussing with canol also ... My manager is same he was also working with me in my previous company and he is also my manager in my current company.

He is ready to give the reference letter for both companies. company which is closed and current company.

I have been following the forum for sometime, this is my first post and would like to really appreciate the responses and support each one gives here. BRAVO to all specially the seniors and pros !! :)

I am having trouble and would like suggestions and advice on following concerns relating to adding spouse: (12 Aug 2014 single applicant awaiting PER and planning to get married)

1. What is the appropriate and effective time to add spouse to avoid unnecessary delays in processing ?

2. What are the requirements for adding spouse, or what additional documentation is usually requested by VO ?

3. How does adding spouse affect the application in terms of processing time ?

Thank you.

Look at the document checklist. When you were preparing your application, you probably skipped over everything that said "spouse." To add a spouse to your application you will have to provide all those things as though you were preparing a fresh application (such as a background declaration and family information form for your spouse, birth certificate, etc.) and you will need to update any of your forms and documents that would be affected (i.e. new generic application form, new family information form, marriage certificate, etc). You will also need PCCs for your spouse and your spouse will have to do the medical exam. Nobody knows how much time this will add to your application processing as it varies from case to case.

You can add your spouse at any time after you marry and before your visa is issued. It's very important to add her before your visa is issued (practically, before the passport request) because once your visa is issued your application is closed and you cannot add a person to it.

Good luck with your application and congratulations on your upcoming marriage.

Thanks buddy, I want to end the fear of reference letter today. so chating with you all guys and getting valuable suggestions and guidance. Thanks to all of u.

Well, today I heard new thing from you as Resume is not required. I was thinking as We have to submit Resume also. fr
So, I was frightened also as my wordings for my resume and Reference letter is also same.

SO only reference letter Plus appointment letter, Increment letter, salary slip, Form 16 and IT returns for a particular job is fine
Is this is correct what i Understand NO RESUME is REQUIRED,

PLease comment on this Friend.

Yes, you are absolutely right Future. No doubt about it.
Thats why I said, "Just hope, CIC reverts back with the pendency rather than a rejection."
In the next post, I have also mentioned that pendency chances are almost bleak.

Sometimes miracles do happen. But otherwise what you said holds good.

+1 to you for being upfront

I really am a gentle soul. But I think on this forum people deserve a complete and honest answer. Even if it's an unfortunate answer, it helps them move on to plan B quicker and hopefully still immigrate or whatever path they wish to take. In this situation it's no use telling people what they want to hear. That's why I come off as a cold-hearted b@st@rd sometimes. But as I've said immigration is so stressful, even when you succeed it's a life-altering experience.

Hello people, have been a silent reader for so long and first i have to say that the volume of information on this forum is amazing. Thanks to you guys, i have been able to put together my application package , without a consultant, and plan to submit latter this month. i however need to clarify one thing, i requested for my MBA and my Bsc to be evaluated by WES, however only my MBA was evaluated cause my MBA school in France sent my transcript and document immediately i requested , while my Bsc university took forever to process my transcript, by the time it was ready WES had already sent me my ECA report.
My question now is do i need to still attach my Bsc transcript and certificate along with my package, or only send that of my MBA.
P.S my ECA report does not mention my Bsc.
