I believe the CIC website reflects only applications that received PER. But I can be wrong....

I hope you are wrong ;). It will be a big sigh to many late applicants !

Hi Guys,

I mean completeness check (completed applications ) becomes count (CAP) numbers on the CIC website. Why many believe PER / Charging accounts to CAP numbers?

I think CAP number is reflection of PERs issued, not that of apps which passed completion checks. CIC wouldn't want to fill up an NOC by adding count of apps which would not qualify for PER.

Hello FSW 2014 Applicants,

Wishing all the FSW 2014 applicants who applied, a quick PER / Processing of application and those who got their Visa, a happy and prosperous life in Canada.

I would like to inform you that we have a FB group for discussing all the settlement issues in Canada. Since the setting for the fb group has been selected as "secret" so only group members see the group, who's in it & what members post. Friends and relatives of the group member will not know anything about the group.

Since the fb group is to discuss settlement issues and Networking, we have the following two conditions for applicants wishing to join the fb group:

1) Applicants must have PER.
2) Applicants must join with their regular fb profile.

We have many applicants in the fb group who have already landed and they can be a great help for discussing settlement issues across Canada. Also you can share useful info and help other members by answering their queries.

All the FSW2014 Applicants who meets the above two conditions and wish to join the fb group shall PM me the email id which they use to log in to their fb account.

Thank you.

+1 for your efforts. I am sep applicant. can I join or is it too early?

Hi all,

Can anyone answer me this question?

I'm preparing my application and hopefully everything will be done by end of November. Is it too late for me to submit in Dec? I'm worry that the cap can be reached at that time. My NOC code is 5125.

Also, I'm not clear about the 25,000 cap. Is it a 500 for each occupations or there's no exact cap for each occupation as long as the 25,000 is reached? In the website also mention the sub-caps of 1,000 for each occupation. What does it all mean?

Thank you for your help and info.

50 noc
1000 maximum limit for each noc ( maximum )
Any noc reaches 1000 will be capped
Looking at current trend 25000 numbers won't get cap till fsw2014 (last day of April 2015)

In short you should be concerned about "your " noc and forget about everything else .

Which ever is your suitable noc it has total 1000 seats .

Could you please add my FB id to the group

vasu.maaney@gmail.com

Thanks,
vasu

So what happens after completeness check , its only payment that is left ? But is there any CIC doc which relates the two (PER and CAP nos.)

25,000 is the total number of applications which they are going to recieve so if total count reaches 25000 they will not take further applications irrespective of the individual cap count

Hi,

I am having Undergraduate degree from back home in Electronics Engineering and I have my Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Science from Concorida University, Canada. Currently I am residing in Canada but on Student study/work permit

I have around 1 year of work exp from July 2011 - Aug 2012 in the capacity of Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians NOC 2241.

I need to know the following

1. Even though I have Canadian Master Degree, do I still need to go for IELTS exam or I have to appear for some other exams and what is that exam name. Also at what time these English test report is needed. Is it needed at the first step of application or they are required at some time in the middle process of application.
2. In adaptability section, I have a Master degree from Canada which gives me 5 points. However, my brother is a Permanent Resident (PR) card holder of Canada. Will I be able to claim another 5 points for my brother PR.
3. For my undergraduate degree, which agencies I need to get them evaluate. Also at what step I need to submit these evaluated certificate. Are they needed at the first step of application or they are required at some time in the middle process of application.

Thanks

NO CC/DD charge and NO PER today....... ::) ::)

What Happen at CIC....

Yes, DeepManku! It's a strange day. Since last couple of weeks we were used to hear of apps getting charged every hour! Today we don't see much progress, so it feels like it used to before last couple of weeks!

CIC processed apps nearly 3500 received from 1st of May till 22nd of May during May till 20th of September.

From 20th of September, CIC has processed nearly 1500 applications, received between 23rd of May till 16th of June! Much higher average applications processed per day.

It is mentioned in their website that they will update our file in case we send additional documents to them. Check below link.

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/update-how_mettre-comment.aspx?view=d

There have been confirmed cases where newly sent documents were not matched up with the previously received application. It is always a risk. Better to send a complete and accurate application the first time.
