Dear all....

Need to clarify few doubts.... My work exp letter doesn't give a deceptive details abt my wrk exp according the NOC 2281... Will this be a issue?

Also under proof of funds does the money hv to be in the account for any specific time frame? Before we add it to our application?

It's good that it's not deceptive, but I fear that you mean it is not descriptive. If so, that is a big issue. If CIC isn't convinced that you worked in that NOC for at least a year the application will be returned. The way CIC becomes convinced is the description of your duties in the letter. This is absolutely crucial to the application.

You don't have to have funds for any particular length of time, provided the local VO is convinced that the funds are really yours, and are liquid and unencumbered, you will be fine.

I am a little worried about my reference letters.

I am working in the UK, and some of my reference letters (Ernst & Young) are quite generic, I have attached all payslips etc, and sent the reference letter, but they are not as detailed as I have seen mentioned (most only state title and salary).

Is it likely to be rejected? I spoke to the companies and they do not give any further details than this on the reference letter.

Yes it is. The way CIC becomes convinced that you worked in a particular NOC is by matching the description of your duties contained in your employment letter with the description of duties in the NOC classification. They do not pay attention to titles or make assumptions based on any other factor, because they don't have experience in these fields and are not in a position to know what they aren't told. The letters must tell them explicitly.

Sorry to worry you but I am being honest. Employment letters without job duty descriptions are always rejected.

You can consider getting personal letters from supervisors or others who knew your duties, that have more details, and either sending them in to supplement your current application or making a new application (depending on your NOC and whether it's hot).
