want to congratulate you all who have got their PER mail from CIC ..game is ON
I have seen that some NOC cap is going to filled very soon and some have still hope for few more month but among them NOC 1113 is only one CAP update from CIC with 0 applicant.. every week i wait to see it but give same outcome. this is making me surprised .. because from spreadsheet we can see one guys with same NOC has already got his MR request and last week i also got PER mail on same NOC..

Any idea friends how CIC is doing with this NOC??

How come CIO would allocate cap to applicants if they are not determined eligible? Of course, it's PER.

Hi,

I am having Undergraduate degree from back home in Electronics Engineering and I have my Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Science from Concorida University, Canada. Currently I am residing in Canada but on Student study/work permit

I have around 1 year of work exp from July 2011 - Aug 2012 in the capacity of Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians NOC 2241.

I need to know the following

1. Even though I have Canadian Master Degree, do I still need to go for IELTS exam or I have to appear for some other exams and what is that exam name. Also at what time these English test report is needed. Is it needed at the first step of application or they are required at some time in the middle process of application.
2. In adaptability section, I have a Master degree from Canada which gives me 5 points. However, my brother is a Permanent Resident (PR) card holder of Canada. Will I be able to claim another 5 points for my brother PR.
3. For my undergraduate degree, which agencies I need to get them evaluate. Also at what step I need to submit these evaluated certificate. Are they needed at the first step of application or they are required at some time in the middle process of application.

Why do you want to apply through FSW? if you have a Canadian masters? Your better option is in Experience class.

Guys, I got a quick question.
What happens after we get the FSW PR? How soon are we expected to land in Canada before it expires? I would like to go to Canada after a couple of years if that is a possibility?

The visa will expire one year from the date of your medical exam. It cannot be extended.

However, all you have to do is "land," meaning travel to Canada and complete your formalities, before your visa expires. You can land and return to your country and then actually move to Canada when you're ready. But when you return to Canada you must use your PR card, which can only be sent to a Canadian address, so you'll have to have someone forward it to you. Also you must stay in Canada for 2 out of every 5 years to maintain PR.

It is compulsory to fill surname in the generic form. In my passport, Parminder Kaur is written under given name and the space under the surname is left empty. Could you guys please advise what I am supposed to fill in the spaces under surname and given name in the form.

Write the full name in "surname' field. write N/A in the given name field. Your passport will have only Given name..but still. It is as per advise in cic website.

Nope, once you have PR under this program there are no strings attached.

Write parminder kaur full in surname
given name leave blank in imm0008 so to validate correctly

rest all forms write surname as parminder kaur
given name not applicable
