No, it is not possible because we already have ministerial instructions on this point.

Furthermore, applications do not have to be completely processed by the time the program ends, you only have to apply by the time the program ends.

If your application reaches CIO on April 30, 2015, it will be processed as normal.

Future_canadian,

+1 to you whenever possible. Currently Karma stands in the way !!

3 yrs or 1 yr ? ? ? :o :o

Dude it is 5 yrs !!

This can be renewed if you have stayed for minimum 2 yrs and you can apply for Citizenship if stayed for 3 yrs or above in the past 4 yrs..

Landing time to Canada is however 1 year from MR.

The rules are set to change. By the time any of us is eligible to apply for citizenship, it will be 4 out of 6 years.

Is it ? Oh !! They're making it difficult..But I guess the serious applicants will have no issues as they are intending to shift forever. :)

Thats really bad. You should complain against the PSK and the APO in that case.

We did actually.... haven't heard from them for over 2 months now. And I do not have time to follow-up with them.

Congratulations!!! :)

terki,

What you have mentioned about Ministerial instructions is true. As of now there is no such Ministerial instruction which says that FSW2014 will cease to exist effective Jan 2015.

Till the time such Ministerial instruction is not there, we can assume FSW2015 will continue till April 30th 2015

Not only can we assume, we can KNOW, because there has been a Ministerial Instruction saying so.

I quote Ministerial Instruction #12:

A maximum of 25 500 new complete applications submitted for the Federal Skilled Worker Class, without an offer of arranged employment, will be considered for processing for the period of May 1, 2014, to April 30, 2015, unless otherwise indicated in a future Ministerial Instruction.

You can read MI #12 here: http://gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2014/2014-04-26/html/notice-avis-eng.php

I have applied myself with guidance from Y axis availed there service and do double check of my documents before sending to CIC as per checklist also my WES Report was as per norms sought by them along with application .

Thats why i m so confused if CIC has to reject they shoudl reject and send my application back to me that is also not done by them neither they have responded back on my Email .

Also i checked with my Bank people they confirmed me my bank DD is not charged yet .

I have already believed that my application is rejected by them but still wondering why have they not send my kit back to me neither responded to my request of information sought .

Can anyone suggest how to tackle this situation.

Dear members of the forum

I applied under NOC 2171, below are the duties my company provided in the reference letter. Would you think these tasks are OK for this NOC?
Thank you.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST

1) Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.

>>>>Maintaining the integrity of server performance
>>>>Troubleshooting and update information about user accounts.
>>>>Back up routine;

2) Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.

>>>>Manage the OS servers

>>>>Install and configure new software and updates.

3) Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address.

>>>>Integrating new technologies; to network; and applying updates, patches, and configuration changes to the operating system.

4) Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.

I'm afraid this does not look like a strong match for 2171
