For National Identity Document is it SSN ? If so this doesnt come with expiry date.

You, the principal applicant, on behalf of each of your dependants not included in the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008).

I have added my spouse & child in Generic IMM 008 form. Do I need to share Parents as dependent in this additional form ?

Dear All,

I received my application back today after a very long wait. My application was received at CIO on the 20th of May 2014.

However,the rejection was as a result from an "Error" from the staff at CIO. It reads " You did not provide us with a copy of the completed foreign education credential to accompany the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA Report) " even though I duly included my B.sc Certificate (copy) in my application. It was even enclosed in the package returned to me by CIO. So, how come they did not see it over there?

Why would CIO no take their time to go through applicants' package before just returning them?

I intend to send another application as soon as possible, but not without proving a point to CIO about their unnecessary error at least. Or what do you advise?

It is such a painful experience!

Did you provide copies of your transcript of records? Because in the check list it is stated there education document( certificates, diplomas or degree) AND transcripts.

Resend application ASAP hope NOC is not hot.

Yes there was a attempt in 5th June applicant CC. He may not have updated SS as he had some transaction issues, where the amt was debited from his card but was not reflecting, supposedly it should update EOD

Are you sure, Transcript is also required, because getting transcript from University is again a big problem in India.
We have ECA from WES which got only after transcript submitted while doing ECA.
Because from above documents i also did not submitted transcript .

Hi Manish.....Click Trick means to say xerox copies (transcripts) of all semesters memos, degree and consolidate memos for which one has taken WES, along with the Original WES Report which is mandatory while sending the package.

* Please refer point 13 (Canadian Educational Credential or Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report ) from the checklist

Also include copies of all educational (e.g. 10th / 10+2) documents while filing the application if available but is always better to include.

I have one doubt...could you help me?

It is about my points in experience... tell me if my experience will be counted 7 years if it is like this:

Civil Engeneering (NOC 2131)- 1,5 years (2013 to present)
Engineering design (NOC 2253)- 5 years (2005-2010)
Drafting office supervisor (NOC 2253)- 1 years (2011-2012)

PS.: NOC 2253 is not one of the 50 eligible occupations of FSW2014...

Do you think I can achieve 15 point in this way?

I have a question. I applied from USA. So my visa office is CPC-Ottawa. What happens if I permanently leave for India while my application is being processed? The obvious answer is: yes I have to notify CPC-O. However what I would like to know is how my case will be handled by Canada after that? Its the same address where you sent the initial application. Ensure that you identify your application clearly in the covering letter.

I just realized a couple of mistakes that i have made by looking at your comments.

- Did not included the details of my parents in the generic application form.
- Did not included the background declaration form of my spouse
- Did not included the additional information form of my spouse
- i have mentioned the assets value of 18500$ in my economic form and since i don't have any liabilities i have not mentioned anything in settlement funds and liabilities.

I am sending the updated generic application form, background declaration form and additional information. Do you think i should send the updated economic form? Also, just wanted to seek your advice, will they accept the updated forms because my file reached CIC office on 13th august and i still have lot of time before they evaluate my application.

I will also be sending a cover letter explaining my situation and hope they should accept it. pls advice
