yes you need not take an appointment for pcc issuance. You ca just walk in and get the pcc issued in about 2hrs...good luck

One of my friend got PCC while applying for VISA .

He told PCC from passport office wont work. We need to get PCC from Police Commissioner's office .

Please cross check before sending ur PCC .

They are obviously doing completeness check first
Then Charge
Then PER

No..Not an issue. many applicants have got PER after leaving them blank. So no worries.

He told PCC from passport office wont work. We need to get PCC from Police Commissioner's office .

Please cross check before sending ur PCC .

Well I can confirm that here are no such issues and PCC from PSK is equally acceptable. Thousands of applicants have used it successfully already.

Yes,

CIC website also mentions that PCC from regional passport office in India is perfectly fine and acceptable.

PSKs (Passport seva kendras) are affiliated to the regional passport office and issue PCC on behalf of the regional passport office. So PCC is completely ok.

I applied under NOC 2173 and my application was received on June 18th 2014.Recently only I came to know that the form Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] was updated on June 17th.Is June 18th applicant with old form acceptable?Could you please tell me whether anything needs to be done.Thank you

Has anybody added here spouse after receiving the PER? How much delay it will cause to my application?

And when shall I contact NDVO regarding the same? I have just received PER (Yesterday). Shall I wait until I get AOR?

thanks for info but my cousins hv gotten pr and they had submitted pcc issued from psk only.i am very much sure about it....cheers!! God bless

After you receive PER email, go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp to check your application status.
