Hi Friends

Same boring question by another new user on this forum.............

My Application has been Delivered on 23-Jul-2014 for 2172.

What is the probability for getting it through ?
When shall I expect my cc to be charged (I believe it should be around Ist week Nov) ?

Thanks in advance for sharing your opinion about my case
Atul

Atul you have to wait till 2nd week of November (10 Nov - 15 Nov) for your CC charged.
Till then don't worry . +1 to you :)

Hi guys,

My file was received by J. Miller at CIO on 15th May 2014. I have not received anything from them. Is that OK? I am really worried about it.

N.B.
I have applied as NOC 2132 (Mechanical Engineer).

Please advise.

To my calculation last week of October. Given the flow of applications we are already seeing multiple days getting charged. Cheer up you should hear back in next 40 days or so.

By Tuesday they should start with June 9th

Its not correct, the taxation is 30% and its even low if you are earning low.

I have my friends staying there 3.5k-4k for a family of four is sufficient. Let me give you some idea about the main expenses in CAD

Rent around 1200-1500 depending on area, for 2 bhk
Grocery and Veg 500-600
1 Car 500-600 (insurance, morgage, gas)
Monthly pass for 1 assuming one car for a family and other using public transport 150
Mobile, cable and internet 150
Hydro 300
Misc 500
Landline 50

These are main expenses and they could go a little here and there but only marginal

Lalit +1 for sharing this real time information

Correct..everyone's definition of lifestyle is different. So someone may feel CAD 40k is sufficient while someone else may feel even CAD 100K is insufficient. So lets not discuss on this now

absolutely right Bro !!!! :)

Just a quick follow up. These figures apply only to ON, since I have no knowledge of the costs in other provinces.

1) Having 2 cars presupposes applying for 2 insurances that are mandatory. For a newcomer the fee for one vehicle will amount to 3000-3500CAD, and it will increase drastically next year if you screw up with tickets or get into an accident. Gas is more expensive than in USA. About 1,30CAD for regular. The car prices can be found on autotrader.ca. Pretty much everytme you see a price for anything it is pre-tax, so add 13%HST.
2) Two bedroom apartment rent ranges from 900 to 2000. Parking space and utilities can be charged extra, depending on the landlord's policy. The farther from Toronto and GTA the cheaper. But there are fewer jobs.
3) Phone plan averages to 50-80CAD depending on the data cap.
4) Home internet plan averages to 70-90CAD.
5) Grocery is cheap, especially if you buy stuff at Costco, which would be a good idea for a family of your size.

So, keeping in mind 40% income tax, you should look for a decent payroll to keep the boat floating. But it's managable.

Ok.

Dear Experts,

I'm applying under 2172.
One of my employers gave me the experience letter but they didn't mention the following. Please let me kow if its fine?

1.Designation mentioned as senior software engineer but the roles match the 2172 code (Database analyst) - Is it okay or should i produce a self declaration?
2.Salary and other benifits are also not mentioned - I will attach the last 3 months salary slips when i was working there - Is this enough or i should provide a self declaration?

Also pls let me know what are the chance for 2172 if my application reaches in a week?

Thanks a lot...

Please respond...
