LOL, that isn't the case.... Everybody knows here, that we don't work for CIC and all of us are giving our inputs, based on our research or basis our experience. But they as a user, want to get as many replies as possible, so that they get a maximum probability of the same answer, which will then give them the confidence....

Its almost like taking a second opinion from a doctor... so don't take it to heart all of us can make mistakes too, and that's when we want others to step in ....

Sorry, I realized it a bit later. I know they are anxious and sometimes, dont even know how to check the previous responses as they are new. I will try and continue to do my best

Thanks to all the forum members for sharing all their questions, doubts, experiences, suggestions, mistakes and of course friendly and helpful gestures. This is definitely the most helpful forum on the web.
Thanks to Admin and all others who supported him.

My app was returned in 2013 for noc 2174 due to cap.

Applied this year for noc 2173.
App sent 8 may
App received 26 may.
Ecas updated 13 sep.
PER received 16 sep 11:48 pm.
DD Encashed 9 sep.

Coming to my mistakes:
1. Did not write my name on the last page of generic form.
2. No name on DOB certificate, father name incorrect spelling. Did not send separate affidavit. However my Tenth certificate has my father name.
3. Did not mention UCI NUMBER.

4. Biggest mistake, sent the courier to PO BOX address. Actually sent my app on 8 May, which was delivered by UPS on 13 may. The app was returned by the cic people the next day(reason mentioned by UPS: the receiver says, they have not ordered the package), which was not known to me until I received a mail from UPS.

However I received a mail from UPS on 16 May about package return. When I called them, they asked me to ignore the email as the package is already delivered( actually the web tracking was also showing the same).
On 20 May came another email from UPS, asking me to claim the package or it will be abandoned forever. Contacted them again, this time they were saying the email is correct and package is not yet delivered.

I asked them to return the package as there were some mistakes in my app as mentioned in points 1 2 & 3. The app was lying in their Canada office till 23 May, due to unknown reasons.
Since it was getting delayed, finally decided to send the app with mistakes and take a chance by re-routing it to courier address, since I thought it would take almost 2 more weeks to get it back n forth. Hence it reached on 26 may.

Actually all this happened as I was in a hurry, so that at least this time I could be within cap. May be I was in desperation to get out of my problems.

Hope my experience helps some needy eligible applicant.

I believe you are not alone in there mate ... I have seen few posts who are still waiting PER for the month may !!! So hang in there mate and I hope you will shower the good news in coming few days

I am screwed :'( My FBI PCC application reached on Sept 9, and yesterday I had the request to send PCC in 60 days. I really regret not applying to the FBI earlier

I had sent PCC request to FBI on 12th August . They charged my card on 11th September and still waiting for the Report.

No idea how long they will take...

Is it possible to know the draft encashment status for the drafts issued from Indian bank? In particular, HDFC Bank.

If yes, how?

Hi Guys
Hurray I got mail from VO regarding RPRF,MR and PCC. They will sent MR forms separately waiting for that. They sent an invitation to attend one seminar as well. They have given 45 days to submit all (31st oct). I have one qtn, The rprf fees should be sent it as a DD. payabe to "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.
1) Does the above information is enough only for taking DD? Is there any address need to give other than "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada"

2) Does the Medical Result being sent by applicant or doctor? If by applicant can I sent all together , I mean RPRF DD, PCC,MEDICAL RESULTS?
