The mandate clearly states provide PCC for all the countries in which you have stayed for more than 6 months in the last 10 years . My guess is you should be fine.

The other alternative is if you get medicals, then you will know if they will ask you. But, I dont think you need to even mention this information as it states that all the information you provide is from the last 10 years, including your work experience.

Hope I was able to give you a satisfactory answer.

Dear All,

Thanks a lot for putting up so much of info. This really helps a lot. I need your suggestions regarding my FSW application.
Here is my situation: I have total 7 years of experience. Out of this,

First 4.2 years falls under 2174:Computer programmer
and remaining 2.9 years is under 2172:Database Administrators.

While I was able to get roles and responsibilities letter on company letter head for the 4.2 years under 2174, for 2172, my current organization refused to give any such letter. Because of this reason, i filed my application under 2174 and my application was received on Sep 11. Looking at the updates since then, the likelihood of my application for 2174 falling within the quota of 1000 is minimal or may not be there at all.

I heard that we can file under multiple categories so, i am thinking of filing another application under 2172 but, there is no process mentioned clearly on cic website regarding this. Is this possible? If yes, can you please point me to the location where any such info is available. Also, in case this is possible, do you think it is better for me to wait for the first application to be returned and then file the new one or, it would be just fine if i send a fresh one (probably with an explanation that i had filed under 2174 earlier)?
I am confused as, whether the first one gets through or comes back, i will be assigned a UCI but, I will not know it till i hear back on the first application.

I will still not be able to get roles and resp letter from my org but, can have one of my colleagues sign an affidavit for this. Further, all my payslips mention my designation as database admin and may help me in proving my experience. Hope such stuff will work.

Please advise.
Jamie.

Hi!

If medical exam result is OK, does this mean I can get a immigration visa 100%?
Or will there be any chance to be rejected after medical exam pass?

Yes, it is important to cover the families of both you and spouse as it becomes a part of family tree for future.

My suggestion would be, go ahead and send another form filled properly and make a cover letter along mentioning your NOC, Date of Delivery, Tracking Number for package, Time Stamp with who receieved it and your complete details like NAME, DOB, EMAIL etc so they can replace the new forms :)

Best of luck, there is no harm in sending again :)

Not required for mother, father and mil and fil. If you see the definition of dependents of CIC

1. Spouse
2. Children below 18 years
3. Children above 18 years but dependent of parents because of disability, which needs to be proven

By this definition, parents dont come under this. However, we need to mention those details in the relevant form (dont remember the name)

:)

FAQ by CIC:

If I have a year of work experience in more than one eligible federal skilled worker job, can I apply more than once?

Yes. You can apply as many times as you like, under the same immigration program or different programs. But, you must pay a separate application fee each time. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=864&t=6

Can I withdraw my federal skilled worker application?

Yes. Contact your local visa office to withdraw your application. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=108&t=6

If I withdraw my federal skilled worker application, can I get my money back?

It depends. Your fee will be refunded if the office has not begun processing your application. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=109&t=6

About Reference Letter:
Try to get it from supervisor. If not possible, then go with your senior colleague. Ensure adding a cover letter mentioning why reference letter not attained from HR/supervisor and why no cover letter.

Ensure other documents like payslips, joining letter, promotion letter, etc, visiting card of your colleague.

Dear all,

1).The IMM 5406 form is supposed to be in both english and native language. So does this mean 2 copies of the same for has to be there? One in English and one in native language?

2) I (principal applicant ) and Spouse are the applicants.
For the copy filled by me----> In SECTION A , For the first question, my name will be entered against which the relationship is "applicant", in the second question my wife's name against which the relationship is "Spouse or common law partner" and then my dad's name, mom's name, brothers etc

For the copy filled by my wife----> In SECTION A , For the first question, her name will be entered against which the relationship is "applicant" or my name itself ??? I mean does the first and second question remains the same for the individual forms filled by me and wife?

You can file under 2172 rightaway. 2174 will be capped. Cic does not publish officially that you can apply in multiple noc but many in this forum have done and it is allowed. 2172 is cold noc it might be capped till next year april. All the best

Wondering about couple of things:

1. If it's a holiday for CIC today?
2. CIC charge date estimates sheet on SS excludes certain working dates (Mon-Fri) including today's date, why?

Optimist (its not about dependents), if tomorrow you need to sponsor your brother or your mother is being sponsored, how would they prove that you are family, the question would come that why did you not shared at time of immigration. I have seen such a case, its important to create a family tree for future dealings if any

Hope this helps :)
