Just that i have not read any such instruction by CIC.. for all that matter, the person who wrote could be as intelligent as me.. thus seeking help if anyone has read it anywhere?

besides I think stapling is much better choice than not stapling... and two side prints is more nature friendly ..

Please refer Document Checklist Page 1 about sending documents unbound. Its not mentioned anywhere that the print should not be back to back. However its mostly followed to send single side print docs especially application forms. Rest is your call. 8)

Need Help regarding proof of funds!. I want to show some part of funds as PF. I got the e passbook through online. Do I need to get it attested ?

The EPF passbook that you download from EPFO site, is digitally signed. Thus notarisation is not required. Just attach other supporting docs along with it like payslips, if it has your EPF number listed there (again this is optional)
Hope this helps.

I was talking about your share investment. I guess, it is publicly traded one.

Generally, people buy through security agent. That security agent regular update the portfolio status. Get that status.

Also ask your security agent to provide balance certificate.

Yes, it is.
Well, I didn't buy thru an agent. (There ws an IPO and I applied thru the bank directly)
Although, I have an agent if I want to sell my shares.

So, u mean I have to tell that agent to provide me with the portfolio statement and balance certificate CORRECT?

Also: I have an account in my home country (have funds there as well. I will just need bank balance certificate from that bank CORRECT)?

Appreciate your help.

Anyone here who got PCC from Mumbai? Please outline the process.
I find two compeltely different processes and forms to get PCC done.

Path 1: Through Passport Office
http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/downloadEFormStatic

Path 2: Mumbai Police website
https://www.mumbaipolicegeneralunit.maharashtra.gov.in/ccssb1/Home.aspx

The forms are widely different, in fact the police website form requires a letter proof from canada embassy,
besides details of where you lived in the past couple of years.

Hello friends

i want to confirm my Job duties with HRSDC so guys can you provide me email id of the HRSDC

Regards

This is the email address: noc-cnp @ workingincanada.gc.ca

I too had sent mail to them to clarify on which NOC code i should be applying as i couldn't decide between 2173 and 2174. I sent mail on 6/Jul and got reply on 8/Jul.

Pasting some text from their mail, which absolves them completely from making this suggestion to you, as CIC and HRSDC are two completely different entities. I hope this helps :) Good Luck.

Based on the information that you have provided, the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) code may be appropriate for the occupation that you described. Please verify the link below to ensure that the education, main duties and employment requirements correspond to your occupation. You are in a better position to determine whether or not this NOC code reflects your job.

NOC Code: 2173 - Software engineers and designers
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=2&val1=2173

Some occupations have very definite employment requirements while for others, there is no consensus or a range of acceptable requirements exist. To reflect this variation in the labour market, this section describes employment requirements using the following terminology:
• “... is required” - to indicate a definite requirement;
• “... is usually required” - to indicate something that is usually required by the majority of employers, but not always required by all employers; and
• “... may be required” - to indicate something that may be required by some employers, but on a less frequent basis.
Note: For reasons of brevity, in this section the term college includes the following types of post-secondary institutions: community colleges, CÉGEPS, technical institutes, trade schools and agricultural colleges. Where relevant, in some provinces, it may also include private training organizations, music conservatories and other non-degree granting institutions.

The final decision for selecting the most appropriate National Occupational Classification (NOC) code is each individual's responsibility as you know your education, skills and abilities better than anyone else. However, the ultimate decision remains the responsibility of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as they are the only ones who have the authority to determine if the information provided meets their criteria.

Thank you,

Hi,
I've applied under 2174 category, Computer Programmer, and my application reached to nova scotia on 13-Aug 2014. Already cap reached to 537 for this category and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to the cap max count or not.
My question is in case I do not match the cap will my application fees be refunded back or not. And what are the options I have in such case.

Please share your view on this.

Yes, id DD it will be sent, if CC, no charge will be made.
Don't lose hope as yet. Good Luck :)
