I just came to know from my Employer that they received a verification call from some third party verification people with regards to my employment with them. This happened almost 30 days back but my HR informed me today. I applied as a Purchase Manager 0113.

Now my question is I am a 9th June 2014 applicant and I also checked with my bank, my DD has not been en-chased yet. According to SS data 9th June applicants have to wait a lil more. So how come the employment verification happened so early. My file is still with the CIC ppl its not transferred to NDVO yet. So do the CIC ppl do this verification before fees enchantment and before sending the file to LVO..... Did this happened with someone else also.....

Please Clarify.....

Its not possible. I did not applied in any company. I just submitted my employment letter to CIC only.

Pls, do you mean cic will open ur courier envelope as they receive application and then stamp the generic Form?

Hello People,
I have a couple of questions for those who have recieved MR from NDVO (New Delhi Visa Office):

1. How are we supposed to send the required documents to Canada High commision, Shanti Path, New Delhi? i.e. via courier or visit?
2. The address on which we need to send the docs is:
Immigration Section - Service de l'Immigration
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri PO Box 5209 New Delhi 110021 India www.india.gc.ca ? Is that correct?

3. The medical forms have a place where we need to affix our photograph. Is this a standard passport size photograph or the one with Canadian specifications (white background and specific size)?

Its not possible. I did not applied in any company. I just submitted my employment letter to CIC only.

Maybe it was from a bank who wants to verify your work address.

They just did not verify my work address but they verified every thing about my job and roles and responsibilities since when I am working and what is my designation and my character.... Why will the bank ppl verify all this info...... Its not related to them at all....

Yes, that is their standard protocol - to open and stamp date of receipt on the same day

Sometimes they can stamp at 2-3 places in the form (however only 1 is mandatory):
1- On top right of generic form
2- On envelop in which photo is kept (most folks provide this envelop)
3- Any other loosy held material in the packet
