Woah Great! Thanks to GOD. Thanks a lot for your reply. I am not sure how/when the fees was paid, I had paid the fees to Cohen Campbell people during the application submission. They just sent me a mail today with some UCI number and File number and said they recieved the AOR. My application was received by CIO on 22 May.

Yes, made a cover letter like this (scroll down to a post by Saps) and scanned that and sent it in email too (everything that I sent in courier was scanned and sent in email too). Got response in their standard time of about 45 days (I hear they are taking 35 days currently).

Only photo copies of mark sheets (or transcripts) and degree are needed and that too without any notarization etc.

If you do the above, they might take a month to get back and since your NOC is cold as Alaska that won't hurt you. But then you won't need to send another application - that's my guarantee!!!! 8)

Just received my PER alhumdulillah!!!!

Application received: 23rd May,
CC Charged : 5th Sept,
PER Received: 11th Sept!!!!

Can someone please guide me what's next in the procedure..!

One thing regarding my work experience letters.

I have an appointment letter showing my salary, hours per week and JD (But JD have to modify slightly to align to NOC in which I am applying) (Issued July 2011)
And then when I left my 1st job, I got an experience letter from the HR stating my duration of work and things like self motivated person etc etc. (Issued April 2012)

My ex-employer has agreed to give me a new JD letter.( which shall be aligned with my NOC in which I am applying)
THIS SHALL BE REFERENCE LETTER CORRECT?? DATED 2014

Please advice.

1. PCC for me and spouse
2. Medical for all
3. RPRF for me and spouse
4. Updated Passport Bio Pages

** in the meantime, I have my new passport issued (and in the application, I have got my old and cancelled passport no.), So I am sending new passport bio copies with affidavit to let LVO people to know about the same.Got my PCC on the new passport as PCC can be issued on valid passport.

Is that okay???

mine is axis bank visa debit and has 1 lakh pos limit on it.....I hope it will be through

Dhanu, May be you can write a cover letter to mention passport renewal and that you are sending the new one - just 2 lines, though they should anyway understand.

So I am sending new passport bio copies with affidavit to let LVO people to know about the same. like:

You get PER from CIC after being charged. PER = positive eligibility review (that is, you are found eligible for FSW and your application will now be processed)
AOR = acknowledgement of receipt (you get it from your local visa office once your file is transferred from CIC to the visa office; and not all VO give this).

So, AOR is sent after PER and as you can see, PER is the big thing while AOR is really not that big of a deal.

After PER, you will be getting MR

they will automatically return it and your DD will come back in returned packet and once you receive it back you can cancel it.

Thanks TheMapleLeaf. I am aware of this. I inquired about the same here with the embassy and they have a different methodology. Which is freakkking bugging. Two things: I have previously got my fingerprinting done in UAE twice - once before joining my employer and second time during Emirates ID. My hubby on the other hand hasnt been fingerprinted before at all. I have read that since my fingerprinting has been done, I dont need to send again, just inform somehow that I have got it done and just send other docs to Dubai Police HQ and request for the PCC. Any idea if its true. For my hubby on the other hand I guess I need to get it done. Do you know any agency in UAE who can handle this for me there. I am not sure how much I can rely on the postal services and Dubai authorities there to get this to me without it getting lost in the process. If I do ask a friend there to help me with it do I need to provide an authority letter of some sort? Any help appreciated.

Good news! I have received my PER on 12 Sep @ 2.11am.
NOC 1123
Application recd: 20 May
For info:
1. I have self-attested duties
2. I sent an additional package on 29 May (received at CIC on 4 Jun) containing left-out reference letter signed by my immediate superior, and acknowledged by CIC to have successfully matched with the initial aplication
3. I did not write my name on the space on consent and declaration on IMM0008 form but I signed it
4. I checked with HSBC on 2 Sept but DD still not cashed yet and about to check again today
5. I used tons of staples
6. I left gaps in history
7. I did not send mailing labels
