Quick help please.

In Form SCHEDULE 3 - Economic Classes

Item 11b - Liabilities
I can´t insert 0 (zero) so I will leave it Blank. Is that OK?

Item 12
There isn´t enough space to write the main duties so I just used a few words like:
- Develops software solutions
- Improves IT operations
- Analyze systems information
- Design, code and debug software

The complete descriptions are detailed in reference letters

What do you think?

You can hand write 0 or NIL after printing. Just cover the major points in the description space.

67 needed, you have

11 for the experience
21 for education
12 for the age
__
44 total so far, so
23 needed from IELTS

A minimum of Band 7 in each of the modules (and 8 in Listening) will fetch you 24 points and you will be good to go.
See this for score calculation http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp or http://www.fsw2014.info/ielts-calculator/

How long do you think i stand some hope of being in contention after which i can expect my application to be returned, i am 16th May applicant awaiting CC charge, by the way there are another 20 applicants from the same date awaiting response,

brother I cant really say anything, just keep hopes alive, by God's grace u will hear a good news soon. cio still dealing with cases between 5th may and 13th may.......still there are lot of people awaiting positive response. I don't think so ur app will be returned, cos if it was to be returned u would have received something from cio by now, its taking time means its a good sign for u and ur app.

there are many things which delays the initial processing of apps at cio, guys at cio deals with each app separately, sometimes some apps are looked about job description, some are looked for educational assessments, some are evaluated on other things. beside completeness of app and fulfilling 67 points, there might be other thing which are dug deeper, I don't know which specific point is taking time, but if its taking time then its not returned yet and still under consideration. so just wait.

I wish u good luck and hope and pray the best for you and every one awaiting good news.

Hi,

I am ready with all my documents except my employer reference letter. I am bit confused whether it is compulsory to submit the reference letter from all the employer under which i worked. Or is it ok to submit only the latest employer reference letter for whom i worked more than 4 years? I worked for a small company for 6 months before the current one and there is no way i can get a reference letter from them.

I am claiming points for my work experience and i was thinking the latest exp. will be enough. please help me if you think otherwise.

Just gave +1 to Oscar, tknova, century, shah, and ashif. Karma renewed.

Keep up the good work guys.

Regards

Hello dear all,

I have 2 questions about job experience as I have heard it is how one can make a mistake when counting their points.

1. Does job experience refer to the last 10 years or it contains ALL years of working. E.g. If one has worked from 2003 to 2010, is it 7 years or 6 years according to CIC?

2. If CIC receives an application in September 2014 and start processing it in November 2014, are they going to count job experience years from Sep 2004 or Nov 2004?

A bit confusing questions.... ::) ::)
Thanks for your help :)

If you are ok with the points you get from the latest work exp., then it should be alright not to submit the reference letter from old work exp.

Just give some proof for completion though.

1. Month to Month, it should be 7 years of course. But for CIC, one must go back 10 years to the day/month in 2004, the same day/month one submits the application in 2014. Al experience can be counted from that day on wards. In that case, it will be 6 years.

2. I think the dates are locked on the date of receipt of application. Unreasonable it is, but that's how it is I assume.
