guys I received my Per on 12 August.Can you please guide me with my case.I got married on 7 June after submitting my file to CIC on 7 may. my wife is living in USA she is a green card holder.while I am living in Pakistan.my wife will not accompany me in Canada as she is studying in USA. do i need to update my information in CIC if my wife is not accompanying me.I am planning to bring her to Canada after she finishes her studies I will sponsor her after settling myself there. please guide

Wow man you have two options one one for US and one for Canada , Congrats for your PER , Yes it should not be a problem you can update your status later , and she can acompay you after her studies.

Dear all,

I have applied in 2012 in 1122 but file was returned due to cap reached. Now i want to apply for another catagory with the reference letter from the same employer who issued me letter for 1122. He is ready to issue the reference letter as per the current catagory. Do you think CIC will have my previous records and it will contradict as the reference letter was issued by the same employer.

Hello all,
Good to see my friends getting good news.

I have one query. One of my friend sent the wes report to CIC but it had wrong DOB. Now he told wes about the problem after applying and wes gave him a new rectified report.

Wes sent a mail which says that the new report is electronically viewable by CiC
Now does he need to send the new report again??

In the first application he had sent he had stated in the cover letter that dob is mentioned wrongly. He attached the email traffic with cic also in which he has asked the wes to send a new report.

Hope I have detailed the problem properly.

does VO checks all the job references, i am concerned as one of my employers went back corrupt and closed down in 2013 so they do not exist any more (no website, no email address and no phones) what happens with this sort of things.

You're 'ass-u-me-ing that WES will upgrade your ECA if it is accompanied with 12th cert ?? I dont see nay logic in that.
Anyways , it wont cost you anything so go ahead and do it. Let them upgrade the ECA (if fortunate) then think about notifying to CIO.

Another option, I would suggest is to get your ECA done from other agency (ICAS or CES) and wait for their assessment (10+ weeks) 8)

I am preparing to submit my 12th grade education certificate for wes evaluation...but iam affraid of short deadline..wes takes much time to give a report.as iam 4th july applicant is it possible for me to submit wes report before my file review. my consultant said me that there is an option like electronic view to cic by wes.is it possible..how should i notify cic about my wes upgradation
