How can i Check my ECAS status online?? Its askinng for a identification number, Where will i get the number? My CC has been charged yesterday for 1100CAD$

Hello everyone, would it matter if I get my job reference letters on company letterhead from my manager who is a senior manager in the company and another senior manager from different vertical or is it ok to get these letters on plain paper with their visiting card and stamp endorsement. HR in my company would not describe my job role but may provide a experience letter confirming employment.

I'm not sure if its a good idea to get letters on company letterhead as the VO may want to verify with the HR who may not be able to confirm letters from managers on letterhead.

Pls let me know your views

Since app submission pressure is decreasing now....This will be faster at CIC level....But at local VO stage ur file will be in queue....

So the sum of total time is depended to various thing....

i know that the rest of the process is still questionable, but getting PER is of my concern now
i'm kinda confident that once i get PER, there won't be more surprises at LO level... i know i might be wrong, but that's not something i'm willing to think about

Reference letters on company letterheads are preferable. However, plain paper with visiting card works fine too. I used an email printout supported with visiting card of my senior.

16th May applicant here using CC, there are quite a few applicants of 15th and 16th May still pending while CIC started charging 20th May, should i consider myself out of race?

Hi, PCC not needed at initial stage, will be requested later by VO if you scale through to that stage. Others have responded about your language points, cheers.

Will it impact my file?

Plz help what should i do now. Will cic reject my application?

My Liabilities are Nil, however the form doesn't take a '0' and prints with the column blank; should I manually enter a 0 after printing or should I let it be?

I read on this forum that VO has sent some member an email stating his job reference letters are misrepresented as the company HR did not verify the letters provided by applicant. It is in this view that im confused whether I should provide letter on letterhead from my manager or on plain paper coz letterhead references may not go well with HR as managers are not suppose to issue reference letters in my company.

Do we need to send notarised copy of documents like passport,marriage, birth etc...or just photocopies...because its nowhere mentioned notarized...plz help

If your documents are in english/french then there is no need to notarized...
