I would rather say, tell them you want to send documents to Canada for immigration purpose, for the supporting evidence, give them a copy of the generic form and the copy of the demand draft would be suffice.

Instead of getting the police report for the lost TRF.

I would like to inform you all that I have received my PER mail today. My last year application was returned for so funny a reason that I was so sceptical and lack of hope about this time. That's why I have not updated anything in the tracker or active on the forum.

I shall update my details on the tracker on Sunday( as I have a very important exam tomorrow)

Brother Ashif and other experts - From your experience, what is the typical time taken between above two steps by NDVO?

As per FSW13, NDVO started to send MR and PPR from end NOV 2013...

So now u can assume urself.....

Dont worry, they are still speedy....Just give them some time....they will start to send MRs in large batches...

Oscar has been pitch hard for DD; and I believe he has a very valid point. And he has a nice sense of humor and keen literary grasp.

This is for those who are still working on their applications and have not sent it yet. Those who have sent, do NOT worry!!!!! Refer page 2170 to understand what happened with a member 'sarkca' while using a CC. Point is DDs are 100% safe when made for 6 months validity.

I will use his example to caution others from using CC as a mode of payment (since DD is risk free when made for 6 months validity). I am in NO way saying CCs are always unsafe, but credit card users from India and some other developing countries have a higher risk of RBI / Bank regulation issues coming in their way, at times.

Use DD (with 6 months validity) instead and your application will live 100% to see another step in the process.

Until u have not applied earlier or u have not rcvd PER email which contains this unique client identification number-UCI...U cant check on ECAS...

So wait for ur PER email buddy...

Hello All,

I have just joined the forum today.

My Application was received on 25-Jul and I am applying in the NOC 1111.

I had a few questions about timings.

Date Application Received: 25-Jul-14
Date Credit Card Charged: When can I expect the Credit Card to be charged, the current rate is 104 days so approx 06-Nov-14
Date Positive Eligibility Review: This seems to be a further 30 days or so after the CC charge so I should expect this 06-Dec-14
Transfer to London Visa Office: Any idea how long this takes to transfer from Canada to the Local visa Office?
Medicals Request Check: When should I expect the Medical request to come through?
Permenant Residence Fee: When would they request this?
Passport Request: Approximately how long before I can expect this stage to occur?
Visa Issued: Approximately how long before I can expect this stage to occur?
Then once the Visa is issued, do I have 1 year to enter Canada from date of Visa issue or 1 year from date of medicals? I have read both in the forum, so was a little confused.
Additionally, how long is the Visa valid for? 5 yrs?

Finally, based on the current uptake in my NOC of 85, how Hot is this NOC, and is it likely that based on my timelines I would fall into the CAP. Any ideas based on past patterns?

As I learnt from the bank experts on this forum. DO NOT accept the delivery of new card and let the package go back. Banks can not deactivate your previous card unless new card is delivered. Simaltaneously, you can reason with any senior executive of card division and/or your relationship manager at the Bank to keep your previous card active. Good Luck.

Thanks for this option...i have been callinf th bank and explaining my situation..they will b getting back to me since its holiday week in india.... I am telling them to postpone th upgrade of xard... Lets hope thy agree.. If thy dont i will not tk th delivery of th card.....

The only way "I" know is using the UCI number.
You may have this number if you have previously applied for fsw or if you have a Canada visa on your passport.
I know there are other numbers that can be used to check eCAS but I'm not sure how they are obtained. But the easiest one is the UCI I believe.

You will receive a mail about your UCI number after your PER, then you can track your status.

Pls let us know your DD encashement date from PER mail. You can also update yourself (highly encourage) by resubmitting. Pls keep the Edit response link saved.
