Is there a date anywhere on the letter? Hard to believe a formal letter can be written without a date on it...

:D :D
Don't make him nervous. One person already confirmed, it is accepted.

HI

i have issue with my reference letter.

I worked for a company five years on different positions.

Like Assistant Planning Engineer, Planning Engineer and Senior Planning Engineer. My job responsibilities were same. so on reference letter, Company write all position and at the end they wrote common job description. is it ok
further they did not write my salary. so i had to attach my contract letters.

As long as it's clear that those were your responsibilities throughout your period of employment you should be ok.

People regarding the documents in the application. Can they be fastened with staples or paperclipped or should every single sheet of paper be free from one another?
The translations will make no sense if they change the order since some documents are more than 5 sheets of paper.

Leave documents unbound.

friends, I had submitted my application about a week ago!! I had calculated points as 68

Even though both of us had given IELTS and that too on same day, we were able to submit only IELTS of primary applicant as IDP had delayed sending result of dependent by more than 15 additional days (total more than a month from test date)

Now we have received IELTS TRF for spouse as well, is it suggested to send across the same to CIC and what all to send, what process to follow?

Hope if we do this, the App received date is not updated by CIC as date when additional documents are received!! This could put us out of the Cap!!

Pls suggest!! (wanting to send the spouse TRF to safe guard on any mistake done on points calculation by CIC) :o

Just staple forms and maybe use paper clip if they all fit in it. I used a binder clip(black colour) so all doc will be kept secure together..:)

Hello Forumites,

I am happy to inform you all, that I just received the most anticipated PER email some minutes ago.

Application Received Date - 12th May
CC Charged Date - 30th July
PER Mail - 26th August
NOC Code - 2263

Thanks for all your support and encouragement.

Asif and other admins a quick question please, when I am updating the SS edit link, do I need to just fill in the per information entries only or do I have to enter for every field all over again. I am asking because I noticed that when I open the edit link, the entries of the SS form were blank. I do not want to make the mistake of creating duplicate records.

I will appreciate your response. Thanks

@ Goku

gensch is right, but the spouse shud be basically on "governmental assignment outside Canada" here is the link ...........
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=370&t=5

but if u had a Canadian wife u wud not have been on this forum 8) ........... so no need to be concerned abt it ............ its also highly unlikely that ur new employer will post u outside Canada.

I was aware of that thing(governmental assignment outside Canada). But what gensch is saying about an Canadian citizen(your spouse) employed by an employer outside Canada, and if you accompany that spouse then you can count days towards citizenship. So I was sure that he is wrong about, but I just wanted to double check it. Thanks though.

You can send additional document but got no guarantee it will be added. That will not be shifted.

I doubt...Stapling forms as per what i read from checklist..Its not good at all.

CIC people get frustrated with stapled forms and dont like spending time to unstaple them, if they require... >:(

Leave all the forms as it is...May be use paper clips for small things like photographs, address labels, Money order etc...
