Hi all,

What is the eligibility criteria score in IELTS for all the four sections?
If the principal applicant gets 5 in one section & above 6 in all other sections , am I eligible to apply for FSW

No brother,

U will not be eligible...Min requirement for the principal applicant is to get min 6 on each band of IELTS.....

So u will require to reappear on IELTS...........

Oscar, Could you please answer to my below query!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guys, one quick question,

I am not submitting a reference letter from current employer, i am submitting self affidavit. For this reason i am thinking to submit tax returns also.

But the question is, will the form 16's(I am from India) will be enough?

Hi Seniors,

I have applied under 2172, and i can see there are only 7 applications received under website > cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
Does it really mean that only 7 applications are processed till date i.e. 17-Aug-2014? I saw some post saying that applicants who have applied on 20-May-2014 have got response from CIC.
So applications received under 2172 are as of 20-May-2014?

My application deliver date was 18-Jul-2014, when can i expect response from CIC?

Who is gmp who was refused because
"They requested more evidences that my job matches the noc 2174."
Does any one know him, or know exactly what happened?

[size=9pt] Thanks for this format brother, but I too have my doubts on this being relevant / a good match with the NOC guide content.

I would stick with vkay's and zstream's evaluation on this. Again I am not an expert in this field and as a layman I can see some similarities basis my common sense of network guys but when I try to look for matching key words, your letter doesn't contain the key words of the NOC guide much at all. You would need to be lucky to get through on this reference letter is my take. Good luck & best wishes brother!!

Thanks Oscar,

What would you suggest here now? As I have spoken to my employer, and they are fine with giving me another letter with duties mentioned in more detail, which I am sure will cover most of the duties specified under NOC 2281.

My thinking is that I wait and watch till my application is reviewed at CIC, and if Positive, then cool, otherwise I will send another pack with detailed reference letter. Also, in that case wouldn't they know that I have submitted a different letter, and now another letter?

Appreciate your expert opinion here...

Brother,

Both of them are cool NOC (1212 and 0013)...

No issue for the NOC selection....Choose --which suites most with ur job exp.....:)
Ashif bhai thanks for your reply.
The experience as a purchase manager in a manufacturing plant that makes lubricants. Do you think i they would want a technical degree for this reason as my education is B.Com. That is my only worry. Though i was only involved in procurement of plastic cans and other consumables for the factory. For industrial products we had another person. Also, this experience is from year 2004-2008.

Its not major issue that what is educational background ....Its the job duties u have done....

An engineer can apply under marketing field.....In that case proper job documents will ensure the eligibility....

No need to worry that u have not achieved a technical degree....:)

Check the job duties that matches best for u....:)

Brother,

U can check below:

Educational Credential Assessment by WES :

Here is the procedure for ECA by WES:

a. First apply thru WES's website and do the payment and take the ref no. (will emailed also) 180 CAD now (7 days assessment)...

http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/

and check the required docs for ur country:

http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/requireddocuments/index.asp

Now for Bangladesh/India/Pak or other countries:

b. Then fill up the International_Transcript_Request.pdf and put the ref no there.

c. need to take a printed version of International_Transcript_Request.pdf to the university controller office and request him to fill the remaing portion of the International_Transcript_Request.pdf and make true copy of the transcript + cert. he will easily understand coz they have to do such things frequently to recommend students to foreign education. Only one copy --(WES form +Cert+transcript).

d.Finally he gonna give u a sealed envelop that contains attested copy of transcript + cert + International_Transcript_Request.pdf

e. Courier the sealed envelope via fedex by urself to WES address:

World Education Services
2 Carlton Street, Suite 1400
Toronto, Ontario M5B 1J3
Canada

Also for Express entry there is no instruction has declared about ECA.......:)

Go to WES website (www dot wes dot org / ca /) and choose ECA for FSWP under immigrants section. After making the payment online, you need to submit request to your university for mailing your original transcripts to WES for verification. WES is taking 20 days to complete evaluation, so it's advisable to initiate the process at the earliest.

Things are not clear about express entry as of now but I believe credential evaluation will stay for some time.

Brother,

U have to list for that jobs which is under Type 0, Skill Level A, B of NOC 2011. So just ignore them on Sch-3 form....

And for the ref letter issue, Yes u will need to mention the job details even though u cant collect it....Its the rule...

Its not a matter that u r not able to collect the ref letter but u will need to mention it on the form...otherwise CIC may treat that u have intentionally hid it....:)

Good luck...
Thanks for your reply!!!!

So, what you mean is, I must include all occupations in the personal history in background declaration form, but can ignore this particular occupation (which is NOT under Type 0, Skill Level A, B of NOC 2011) in schedule 3 form. And I don't need to collect reference letter for this occupation (which is NOT under Type 0, Skill Level A, B of NOC 2011). Is that right?? Do I need to explain this in a cover letter?

If you want to claim points for your current job you need to submit reference letter from your current employer. Self declared jd not acceptable. Doesn't make any diffrence if you submit additional docs like itr etc.

If you don't want to claim points for this job then it is ok
