I am not submitting a reference letter from current employer, i am submitting self affidavit. For this reason i am thinking to submit tax returns also.

But the question is, will the form 16's(I am from India) will be enough?

I have a question about filling Generic Application form. What should I write in section "Immigration office requested for processing this application"? I live in Russia (Moscow), so at first i thought that i should write "Moscow", but i found out that PR applications from Russia are processed in Warsaw (Poland) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/warsaw.asp I'm a bit confused, what should i do?

I see what you are saying, but i think that is related to those who are self employeed. Correct me if i am worng...

Dear brother ashif, I think what is stated on website is what is in green below and I am not sure how one can conclude the text in red. Is that written anywhere on CIC's site? I don't think so (not that I have seen)!

I remain very clear on this - as long as the PCC issue date is after my application submission date (that is what is meant by the word 'apply' in the green text) no problem at all especially when one's PR process is completed within a year's time of applying at CIC.

It's okay if we have a different opinion on this one. As my signature says, we both are thinking....LOL

PS - I will share a maπtra - please think over this post overnight and I am 95% sure if you respond tomorrow you might agree to my view!

The thing is that, [size=13pt]The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.

So its pretty much clear that issuing date is the major concern. Why this is a major concern..?

Reason is that while submitting the PCC, CIC can be assured that applicants did not commit any crime up to now considering this shorter span of time (three months).......

Lets say u applied on January (with/without PCC) and u are submitting ur PCC on December which is issued on February (nearly 10 months older)...

In this case ur PCC will not be accepted logically since u may commit any crime within this longer period of time...

This is why several VOs including Singapore always request for PCC even though u have submitted it along with ur application...

Its not mentioned anywhere that this three month will be calculated depending on the app submission date....


So its unconditionally ---PCC have to be submitted within the three months of its issuing date which will not be depended on the app submission date.

"Before you apply " What I can understand - CIC is assuming u are going to send ur PCC with ur application package (not on later stage). Thats why they instruct in that way....

And in that case -ofcourse u are going to collect ur PCC before ur application.

So this word does not indicates that u can submit ur PCC with respect to the app submission date .....

Since CIC has declared to send PCC within its issued three months without mentioning any other condition then we need not to consider/ apply any more conditions on it....

Thats what is my thinking....

1 - In the economic class form they tell you in question 12 A - to identify the primary occupation and corresponding NOC. Should I write the name of my occupation as is (Logistics Coordinator) or the name of the occupation as it is presented in the NOC (Purchasing manager)? My occupation name is Logistics Coordinator, but I am applying for purchasing manager. Which one do I write there? What about on 12 B?

2 - I need to provide the bank statements in order to prove I have the necessary funds right? Do I need to have the bank statements translated as well (they will be in portuguese)? Also, in my account only, I don't have enough funds for my wife and myself, but if I include her bank statement we will have more than enough. So is it fine to include bank statements from both people that are going?

1. for both 12a and b it will be: Logistics Coordinator

2. Yes ofcourse all docs need to be either on english or translated.....And u and ur spouse statement will be ok....If possible then take bank cert also....Its preferable....

I think Mr Oscar was expecting answer tomorrow and he further predicted the answer would be changed if given tomorrow.

The application guideline given for application package and not for any specific guideline of updating information to VO. If someone got the PCC, why he will held it for more than 3 month? There could be something wrong.

51- ECA report by Wes was 3 years post secondary education from a non - recognized institute. This equivalency assessment did not demonstrate that he has completed the equivalent of a Canadian secondary educational credential.

Can anyone tell me if this NER reason is valid for all the NOCs??? All my docs are ready to be sent to Nova Scotia for NOC 1123. But my WES repost says 3 years post secondary education from a non - recognized institute as I did this from Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education.

In my NOC 1123's description is said A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required.

My WES says its equivalant to 3year post secondary study at a non-recognized university in Journalism and Communication.

I was told by a consultant that I should have got my ECA done from CES-University of Toronto, School of Continuing Education.

Please advise me what to do. I am in dire need of guidance with this issue.

But with my limited knowledge..many people are submitting reference letters from colleagues along with affidavit starting the reason why you are not able to get jd from company. But I am sure self explained jd on affidavit are not accepted

I hope you understand the reason for not submitting the JD from current employer. If i ask for JD, it will really mess up whole thing with my current employer. I read on one website that we can submit the self affidavit, with other supporting documents like letter from colleague with JD which is notarized and hid ID card. I have got all these documentation done.

I want to claim this experience, as this is the large chunk (5 years ) of experience.

I have BEP letter which was issued by my current employer (which i used for H1B Visa application-however this was issued in Sep 2013) which i having JD. i am submitting a copy of that as well.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

In the Schedule 3 form, there is no much space provided in the 'Occupation Field'. My designation is Network Associate SVCS maintenance.
Is it ok if I mention the NOC Code and mention the occupation as Network Assc.

If its mandatory to mention the exact designation as in offer letter, I'd rather take a white paper and start filling up.

Total received toward the overall cap: 887 of 25,000 are PER received for applications reached CIO till 7th May 2014.

That means below numbers are for applications counted in 1 week around the world, or can assume application/ seats filled in 1 week.
So on that basis, below hot NOCs' will be filled in following weeks.


1112 Financial and investment analysts -- 198 seats filled in 1 week.
So, 1000 seats will be filled in 1000/198 - 5 weeks. - in 38 days - till 8th June 2014.


2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers -- 197 seats filled in 1 week.
So, 1000 seats will be filled in 1000/197 - 5 weeks. - in 39 days - till 10th June 2014.

2173 Software engineers and designers -- 99 seats filled in 1 week.
So, 1000 seats will be filled in 1000/99 - 10 weeks. - in 70 days - till 10th July 2014.

2171 Information systems analysts and consultants -- 64 seats filled in 1 week.
