Hi,

I am applying under NOC-2173 and I am ready with all my papers and about to send the application.
Last week we got a new born, a baby girl (11th July) and as of now I have only her birth certificate.
Getting a passport for her will be time consuming and by that time the cap limit for 2173 would have reached.
1. Shall I include her name in the generic form and mark NO for passports. but include her in the POF and visa processing fees?
or
2. Not include her in any of the forms but write a covering letter stating the situation and attach the birth certificate and request CIC to permit me to produce her papers in the Local VO after getting the AOR
or
3. Suggest me a different approach please....

P.S : To get the passport for the baby, I need update the passport for my wife with my name(spouse),receive her passport, then apply for baby's passport. This will at least take 4 weeks from now.

Seniors please advice on this.

In my opinion, you may sign all the forms mentioning the date earlier than the birth of your daughter and post it. In your future correspondence to VO, you may update your application to incorporate her.

Umm what? The information is likely to be incorrect. There is no reason for CIC to introduce a different program for IT professionals alone when there is FSW and that too when they are waiting for a new system in 2015. There might be some provincial nominee program doing this, but again this sounds to good to be true.

Hi Friends,
If CC is charged and ECAS status shows in process, what are the chances that we are through? If we have a great experience, capability, clean background and good medical records can we fix on the career in Canada or any hinderences may occur? Why iam asking this is i got a very good career growth opportunity and am confused if i shud move or stick to the same job to avoid new risks in this less time.Request your valuable suggestions all....

regards

The best policy is "Hope for the best and prepare for the worst." Even if everything goes smoothly with CIC, there is nothing stopping you for taking on the new position if that means a career growth for you. You just need to notify CIC of the change in job if you do that and this should not be a problem. You will have 3 years (I believe) after getting your PR to move to Canada without losing the PR. So, you could both take the new offer and then consider if moving to Canada is better for you. Stopping your life in anticipation of immigration is never a good idea.

I got it from Last year's returned package. No idea about how to get UCI this time.
