Hi
I am a July 10th Applicant.
My IELTS is valid till December first half only. Given the slow pace of application movement and also as per spreadsheet it seems that by the time my application is opened my IELTS score may have expired.

Does the 2 years IELTS validity apply to the point of time when you have sent the application or when they have opened it for evaluation ?

Its the status at point of submission. If you trawl the CIC site, you should find information on it.

You don't have to worry about IELTS expiry date as your application lock date is July 10th (the day application was received at CIO).

Ideally 9th and 12th May applicants are getting charged, 15th may might take another 4 - 5 weeks.

I am not a senior, so I'm not sure if I should be answering your question because it's specifically addressed to them. However, I'm bored and free so I'll try anyway. So far they have charged CC / DD of apps sent on or before 9th of May. At current speed, you are at least few weeks away from getting your DD en-cashed.

They are still processing May 8th, 9th & 12th applicants. So it might takes 2-3 weeks more to get your DD cleared.

Thanks Buddy!
+1 for your reply!

It is no problem to submit multiple applications with different primary NOCs so long as you submit a complete application for each (separate originals of ECA, IELTS, etc) and pay the fee for each.

If both/all applications are accepted and move to the local VO stage, you will eventually be asked to withdraw one of the applications. You will not receive any refund of fees.

NOTE: Though it is fine to apply in multiple NOCs, do not try to claim more than 1 NOC for the same job experience and do not submit contradictory applications! If you've had 2 jobs both in eligible NOCs then go ahead and apply in both. If you've only had one job, don't try to apply in 2 NOCs based on that one job!

hi mates...

Just wanted to put across an extract regarding yet to be launched EOI, those who are yet to apply, hurry up and avail your seat in FSW flight. :)

It is important to note that applications currently in the system or awaiting processing will not be transfered to Express Entry when it opens, and each application will be assessed based on the application caps and other requirements in place when that application was recieved by CIC. Applicants who have already applied to an existing Canadian immigration program will need to apply separately for Express Entry to be considered under this expedited program.
