Might be a very repetitive and a dumb questions but when it comes to Birth certificates, I want to be cautious.

Does anyone know if CIC accepts Secondary or Higher Secondary mark sheets as proof of Birth certificates provided the mark sheet has below:
1. DOB
2. Name of parents
You may submit sec school certificate if it has
Applicant name
Dob
Parents name

And/or affidavit as a birth proof from parents...

As far as I am aware they do, as I remember reading so in a NER shared earlier on in the forum.

I think, there cannot be a certificate without the applicant's full name also. Add this also.

Hi All,

I still see people asking about IELTS and how to calculate points. Believe me it is no secret formula. We forum members don't have a CIC supplied calculator :)

User @mkshah has made great articles on understanding IELTS. Have a look at the articles below to learn more.

I have read it couple of times in this forum that if you don't attach a conversion letter it is ok. But ask your bank if they can provide you with conversion letter, or writing one on your own can also help (a sort of cover letter mention $value after conversion).
2. Is that joint account(me and spouse) is ok, spouse is also added in my application. That's ok.
3. What are the proof I have to submit regarding this. Just submit joint bank statement from past 6 months.
4. Another query is my birth certificate is written in local language not in English will it be a problem. Not if you get it translated and get it notarized. Don't forget to attach true copy of your original BC.

Please help me on these

Thanks & Regards,
Joseph

Seems I've woken up really late. I've just about got my education evaluation process begun and haven't even given the IELTS. I had almost given up on Canada till I saw a stray email that suggested I qualify under NOC 1123.

My question to the big kahunas on the forum:

1. Does it make sense to go ahead and complete the application at this stage?
2. At what point does the quota of applications get filled up completely for this NOC (i.e.1123).

Any help is more than welcome.

1) the value for can dollar may vary..you must show more than 14720 can dollar as a settlement funds..i woukd suggest you to show around 15-20 % more that required amount.

2)settlement funds can be either in the name of principal applicant/spouse/ joint account

3) you can submit balance certificate, copy of fdrs, bank statements for 6 months...means .oney should be in liquid form...

4)yes you have to translated in english..you must submit notarized copy of original birth certificate, translated copy, affidavit from translator..

Rest seniors can guide better ..

Once they receive 1000 application or receive 25000 application towards overall cap they will stop processing application. Is this what you asked for?
Any help is more than welcome.
