Hi All,
My birth certificate does not have my name but has both my parents name. Will it work? Also, I have not attached my secondary certificates, so in that case will the birth certificate work? or does my application stand a chance of rejection?

rgds,
Its really a dicey situation and fully depends on the case officer handling your application package.
They have the full power to swing it positively to your favour.Remember that your parents name has been filled in some of your forms and this can be used as a reference point to your birth certificate details&your name as detailed in your passport.
I would have loved it that you included an additional evidence for you to have a strong point.....even a cover letter would have clear your doubt.
Like I say....there is a 50% to 60% chance that this will go to your favour as CIC may have been aware of cultures that issue such certificate.
This soft landing i gave you does not nullify the response of k_b.....if you can afford it,start your plan B as he advised you.
Cheers.

Re: Birth certificate FSW 2014 Applicants Timeline- Lets Network Here.

Sorry to say, without your name on the document.. high possibility of rejection :(
No affidavit provided as well ?

Sadly, yes your application can be rejected on the basis of this reason. I suggest you to send a new application as soon as you can. What is your NOC category?

NOC is 0121.

Do I send a new application right now or await rejection first?

Thank u so much for the prompt reply.....so you mean to say I should send a new fee payment form with new CC details and a cover letter explaining the situation and send it to CIC.

What should i mention on the envelope....where should i mention my client id.?

You mean to say that i should email the same details as well to CIC?

Buddy,

Thank u so much for the prompt reply.....so you mean to say I should send a new fee payment form with new CC details and a cover letter explaining the situation and send it to CIC.--------YESSSS

What should i mention on the envelope....where should i mention my client id.?---------U can mention ur UCI on the envelope and on the cover letter too.

You mean to say that i should email the same details as well to CIC?-------YES U MAY EMAIL THEM....

Note- Acceptance is absolutely depends on CIC officer as I told earlier...Since u have nothing to do , I have suggested the above ..:)

Guys

Congrats to all people who got their CC charged and PER received.
Rest of the guys, all the best for your process.

Good to see that forum is very active.
I am FSW 2013 applicant and my visa is issued.
I would like to ask one question on behalf of my friend.
He is interested to apply for FSW 2014 under NOC 2173.
As I am not following FSW 2014 application trend, and also I knew that nobody can predict exactly when NOC will get cap suddenly.
However, for rough estimate I would like to ask you guys,
He has any chances if he apply in October/November.
Last year 2174 cap got filled within 2 months.(CAP limit 300)
As this year CIC increased the intake CAP, I am expecting that, there may be bit chances,
But you people are right to rough estimate
Guys, please shed some light ??????

I have always been around ....although passively and not actively.
Most request have been answered and correctly dealt with by our association of Gurus in the house including your honourable self....hence no need to be duplicating several responses for same queries/request.
Also,I take time to answer PMs directed at me personally and back home,a similar thread like this runs (http://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines/64#24859334) initiated by solomonwis. I try to contribute my widows mite effort too.
Believe me....I've always been around but PASSIVELY.
Thanks for your concern.
Cheers.

Hi Kollins,

You can ask the other fourmities to join this.. I guess this is best forum.. It will be helpful for them as well as us to analyse the data or trends in a better way.

Urgent help
I talked to hdfc head office and my DD is 3 month valid and it will expire on 05 august. They said DD takes 10-20 working day to clear.. I am in trouble please suggest any solution. I dont want my file returned...please reply soon..

Dont worry PK

Mine is from HDFC too. Whoever told you so is wrong. I have got confirmation on e mail that validity of the DD is 6 months. so you need not worry for that. Majority of bank staff do not have this knowledge. Even my bank branch head told me the 3 months but i didnt trust her so inquire via email.

No need to ask for the CAP if someone is willing to apply.. But why he is going to wait till October/November.. If there is specific reason then he can wait for next 2 more months and try in Express Entry... Because as per the trend at least all 217..1,2,3 and 4 will reach to their CAP very easily by September only..
By the way congrats to you for getting the PR.. Do come to this forum to help others..

To all the Applicants who have opted for DD as payment mode and are from INDIA. Dont bother for validity, because the international DD issued has validity for 6 months by default if you havent choose the validity for lesser period. I have confirmed the same from HDFC bank my DD is from HDFC Bank.
Still you can check with your banker.

Thanks.....

Everybody are later encouraged to join.
Just that at inception, its all they have and some queries are asked based on the peculiar nature of the country involved.
Trust me....they are aware of this thread but some questions relating to our country are discussed there.
I've been able to direct some non-nationals of my country to this thread for them to get a response that suit their nationality.
You know its not easy for a first timer to be directed to this thread when all he/she asked is how to get his birth certificate....lolz...
Gradually,...everybody knows about this place as they have more info.
Cheers.

Hey dear,

You can mail ur all duties to this email id "noc-cp@workingincanada.gc.ca" and simply ask them that your job duties are covered within which NOC. You can mention various NOC codes under which u feel ur duties should covered and they will reply you. They will give you an opinion under which your job duties are covered.

Remember this is just opinion not assurance but you can still rely on that opinion.
