Hi Venkat,

Did they give you the FD-258 form in a sealed envelope or in an envelope by signing across the envelope?

No i gone with FD-258 printout in A4 sheet, they asked me to go some(forgot name) xerox shop in adyar(near to adyar bridge) to take in thick card, made xerox in thick card using FD-258 printout and used the same for the FBI process and its successful.

Don't think anyone has got it yet from May 7th. I last heard ttman entry is there, but has he confirmed? Seems more like an entry error if that is what you are mentioning brother!!

Yes, this seems right plus my guess is (purely speculation at this time) it will also come in handy to those HOT NOCs that were earlier filling just because of CAP and in actual are HOT fields that continue to create lots of job prospects like developers, analysts, nurses etc. because irrespective of job offers in hand or not (or whether one is already in Canada or not), provincial and federal level requirements for these will continue and help the top applicants from these fields in getting a PR first and a job thereafter (possibly post arrival in Canada, the usual way)

PS - Any new system will replace the running one only after the new system has 'wings' to keep it flying. And that will get tested in the first few months (let's say until FSWP 2014 ends). No organization ends it normal running application without knowing for sure that the new application will do the work perfectly. That is common sense to me! So FSWP 2014 and Express Entry should continue to run in parallel, until otherwise stated from CIC.

Have you confirmed from your bank about the charge???

Secondly, CC charge status is instant however, DD charge is known approximately 2 weeks afterwards and that too from CIC or ECAS (if you have a previous UCI)

Dear All,

I am from Pakistan and i need your help regarding the Birth Certificate. You may know that 20-30 years back there was no concept of Union Councils. So the Birth was used to be registered at Municipal Corporation by providing the Hospital card. For FSW application how would i proceed to get the Union Council computerized Birth Certificate when they don't have our record as the record is under the custody of Municipal corporation and the certificates issued by them are hand written.

You will need to get birth certificate from Nadra. And ur marriage certificate from Nadra as well if u are married. U will need to pay someone from UC office n u will get everything done. Someone here mentioned it will take 4000-6000 per birth certificate from lahore. But i got 4 birtj certificate n my marriage certificate in just 4000rs in karachi.

Bro, Definitely you need to send copies of eductaional docs....check the checklist thoroughly...
If in doubt, check our 2014 applicants SS, scroll down to the bottom for the reason of one of our friends' rejection reason...

Well since you have them...just doing a xerox and adding them to your doc set wouldn't harm but only make things better for you...!!!

Unless you are too lazy to get them xeroxed...

Copy of degree / diploma is must with original ECA else package will be returned. Also send transcript / mark sheets if possible (although this is a good to have rather than a must have).
