I can see in our SS , few NOC application date under Apps by NOC / Cap estimates , showing 2015 as estimated date for cap to fill...
But thing to remember is CIC is goin to discontinue acceptance of paper application from 1st of Jan 2015 to make Express entry as success...

Dont you think, we should alter it to 31 Dec 2014 (i know its automated date calculation) or let me know if i am missing some thing.

If both system works parallel...then no need to do any thing....correct me if i am wrong some where.

Both system will work in parallel...Mostly hot NOC's will be full by Novemeber-December...They have mentioned on CIC website it will work in parallel..but please keep in mind Express entry criteria is different...i believe u will have to have a job in hand or fall among top of the applicants. I suspect it will be more favourable to students (with or without job offer) and foreign workers already here with job offer...

Dear All,

I am from Pakistan and i need your help regarding the Birth Certificate. You may know that 20-30 years back there was no concept of Union Councils. So the Birth was used to be registered at Municipal Corporation by providing the Hospital card. For FSW application how would i proceed to get the Union Council computerized Birth Certificate when they don't have our record as the record is under the custody of Municipal corporation and the certificates issued by them are hand written.

Well,unfortunately what you felt will not apply here...Just to remind you CIC set the rules and all applicants follow and not the other way round. It might interest you to read through the attached gazette

(Page 986) It states the current program will end in April 30,2015.

Let me also add that "Express Entry" is system driven unlike what we have at the moment....You send in your application through EOI,you are on queue in rank,a prospective employer,province,federal government and all other interest group pick you out of the lot and then you are required to apply and the processing is cleared out under 6 months. So it doesn't really affect the current (or even prior years application as long as they are within stipulated guidelines).

Okay just a guess that this might be the case ---

Since CIC has backlogs of previous years they might have 80% or more staff members concentrating on those to get rid of them and less than 20% on thiss years applicants once they are done with the backlog then all of them would work on 2014 cases...just a thought

With their current speed on especially PERs it is difficult to say what will happen in the future. They have been agonizingly slow with issue of PERs. But you got it right there with that logic. BTW, the # is 158 and not 168, my apology. I edited that in the previous post.

14 days since mine. The rule of thumb, we thought, was roughly 10 days from charging to PER. Now we can see from the heaviest days, you can expect to wait a month.

Have Patience...

I waited for 8 months jobless and got a `impossible to get` student visa yesterday.
PR will come for sure through FSW too..

I am learning a lot 'on the job' lol i.e. after joining this lovely forum from people like Century, ashif, kollins, Future, Dimitry, Shah2014, neel, tknova, Goku, k_b, harka, venkat, cjg, ANANJAY, jpn, abhi, can2174, Achiever, kewl, rohan, aha, aav, Dhaka and a lot others here. Most of these guys these the DOs part but once in while someone in the forum teaches the DONTs part as well, LOL. So learning is a continuous process. And equally thankful to those who teach the don't part!!

Then some things are common sense. And most importantly there's a secret @ "magic crystal ball" though some people are starting to know about that now. :

You should be fine on this NOC by Jun 23rd. Because of the huge (i.e. 1000) intake number many lucky ones should be able to get through this time around. Unless it is a self inflicted wound (call it fate) case most everyone will be in a good place this year!!!
