Thank you very much Pipis Husband, for your reply. To be clear, he said not to include this in the Supplementary Info (Travel) form, but under "Addresses" in the Schedule A Form - is that correct?

Also, I live in Qatar and travel to India several times a year, sometimes just for the weekend to see my parents. In each such instance, he said I should show my Qatar address, followed by my India address, and again my Qatar address to show that I returned from the trip. So this will be a very very long list. I can do it, but is it really what CIC wants? The form instruction is "list all addresses where you have LIVED... in the past 10 years". But I'm just visiting my parents briefly, not living there!

That is ridiculous. There are two separate items, the travel history and the addresses section in background information. If they wanted the exact same information in both, they wouldn't have two separate sections. Your brief visits home are not addresses, they are just travel.

I suppose if you got lucky and spend the night in your girlfriend's flat your lawyer would suggest you list that as an address for one night? ::)

CC Charged

Application received - 9th May
By - Stephenson
NOC -2174

Few things noteworthy about my app -

1. I sent additional documents which were received by Mike on May 24th. I forgot to fill my name in native language in my original app.

2. I used Employee Provident Fund as POF

3. I got a reference letter from my manager on the company letter head.

4. For the reference letter of my previous company I had used the NOC description from 2173 and 2174 merged the ones which are applicable to me and used the sentences as is. No change.

1. This was not a fatal error. If CIC accepted your new documents you would have become a May 24th application. I'm guessing CIC did not match your new documents to your old application.

Congratulations though.

That's exactly what I told.

Bro in point 4. Just a little more to add. If PA does it landing first and then come back to India without PR card he cannot enter Canada again. If he wishes to Canada again then he has apply for Travel Document or can enter Canada through US-Canada land border. Just to plan landing your Single entry visa will have expiry date exactly one from your medical is done. So you will have enough time to land. Amendment has been made in Citizenship rules. need to stay in Canada 1460 days (4 out of 6 year) to get eligible to apply for citizenship. Bill C-24 got passed in parliament recently. This rules will get in action within 1 year.

Excellent information, thanks.

So the wife should wait for a PR card, how long does it take to get that? I thought the PR cards are issued at the time the visas are issued?

I guess this makes it easier for people who don't need visas, just COPRs. I feel fortunate that my family don't need visas, that should make it easier to enter and leave several times while we are moving/arranging everything.

Completely backward. Addresses are places you have set up for longer-term, to receive bills and so on. Travel is for places you visit for short duration.

You can use COPR to enter Canada (on airports), you can also use it to enter through US-Canada Land border.

GOOD NEWS -

Many might recognize me. I am sorry to be away since a month from this forum.

As you know, I had applied for Student visa after FSW application and many said it will get rejected because of the below obstacles :

1) Already a masters degree holder and still going for PGDM
2) Already applied for immigration through FSW.

But my strong SOP helped me get a student visa today :)
I will be flying to Toronto within a month for a 8 months course, and by the time I complete it, I am expecting my FSW PR to be on its final stage.

As you are aware, I rejected UK work visa with this plan to come to India and apply for canada.
I am feeling so happy to see the 1st dream to be true.

FSW applied on 13th May under NOC 2132 (Mechanical guy) 8)

I wish everyone to get their PRs and pray for me too.
I will continue to co-ordinate and be in touch on this Forum from Toronto, and get the latest insights for all.

Yours Sincerely,
JANGO !! 8)

Good information.
+1 for sharing!

CONGRATS ind!!! ;)

I strongly believe that most likely your additional documents never made it to your original application since you are being charged according to a May 9th case. If it had actually made it to the original application, your case would have been pushed to the May 24 'application received' date and reviewed for completeness with that date's applications.

I too had sent an additional document but by the time that had reached CIO, I later learned my DD was already encashed. Point is just because we sent additional stuff it does NOT mean it has been attached to the original application (I know you are not stating that :) and you are simply sharing what you did). In any case your error of not writing name(s) in native language is not even considered an error by CIO, we have sufficient evidence of that. :)

For what you did in point number 4) below that definitely raises a RED FLAG. It is good that you are charged now (i.e. you pass the completeness check), and I hope you make it all the way through. However your previous employment will be considered by CIC during eligibility review remains to be seen. Please do let us know when that happens brother (i.e. when you receive a PER). BTW, would you still qualify without additional points from previous employment as mentioned in item 4) below?

Thanks for sharing the details, these are quite helpful for others!! :) Best wishes!!!

Makes sense. Thanks tknova!!

1) We do not yet have evidence that the additional docs were counted. This is because native language name is not a big deal any ways.

2) Regarding the job description we have found that it is actually checked in details after fee charged and before PER.

Congratulating ind_2173 and wishing him/her best of luck and hopefully (s)he will continue to update us so that all others on the forum can learn.

@future_canadian, @Nadim

I dont think "0013" is a feasible option for him because of the "00" factor !!
Sry to say, I highly doubt someone with a Qualification of "2 yr Diploma" under his belt .. can wear the hat of a CXO/ Director/ VP et al.

Better get a Letter as per 1111 match and Apply ASAP !! 8)

future_canadian said:
You asked for a letter matching 1112 even though your actual work experience didn't match it? That is a misrepresentation and is a serious offense. Do not do such a thing again.

Both 0013 and 1111 are eligible NOCs this year. Both of them are filling up much more slowly than 1112. If you can get an HONEST letter showing at least 1 year of continuous full-time experiencein either NOC, I suggest doing so and applying under one of those NOCs.

Hi Seniors,
Last year I applied under 1112 category but unfortunately my application got rejected because of not getting the pass mark of 67. The reason of that was that WES evaluate my qualification as Two Years Undergradute & the assessing officer gives only 5 marks for education. As the start of this year FSWP in May I contacted WES to review my evaluation & tell me what is the Canadian Equivalency of my qualification and after 2.5 months they informed yesterday that my evaluation is done & they sent me by courier and as per soft copy from their site it is showing now Canadian Equivalency Diploma Two Years which as per CIC should get 19 marks hence as per this I should get 67 total Marks. Last year when I applied my employer agreed to give me experience letter which math the 1112 while my actual work matches with 0013 & 1111. Now my confusion is whether I should apply under same 1112 category or can I apply under 0013 Category which is less hot as compared to 1112.
